Ting Ting (w/ Mini Ting Ting) is -4 thru 13 holes ... expect to see a lot of English on caddie bibs, assorted signage and video graphics, since the LPGA is running the show. OTSU, JAPAN - NOVEMBER 03: Yuting Shi (R) of China is seen with her caddie and sister Yuli (L) on the 2nd tee during the first round of the TOTO Japan Classic at Seta Golf Course North Course on November 3, 2022 in Otsu, Shiga, Japan. Really good round by Kotone Hori, she was on the wrong side to get on Broadcast, On the third group from last today so she should make it.

Kotone Hori made sure that she won't make the Broadcast, she had a bogey and double bogey the first four holes.

A great round by Jeong Eun6 Lee five birdies and only one bogey. What really made it special, she made birdie on three of the last four holes.
Kotone Hori had a tough front nine with a birdie, triple, double and one bogey. She kind of recovered on the back nine with a birdie and no bogeys.

NO WAY is Momoko going back to the LPGA if she wins ...
... but I would be stunned if Yamashita passed up an LPGA card if she wins.
Paphangkorn (-2) ... chill out, there's no cut this week.
Pei Ying Tsai (+2) had chip-in eagle at par-5 1st hole.

Hinako Shibuno explained why it is hard when coming to the LPGA without her coach. I know there was other difficulties but never thought about not having a coach nearby.
I like that Jeong Eun Lee6 gave a plug to the large galleries. I also liked the commentators that gave a lot of information. I didn't have to mute the broadcast like I do listening to the LPGA commentators.

The TBS stream worked perfectly, covered the last five holes of the final group, along with other players.
POS PLAYER SCORE HOLE TODAY 1R 2R 3R 4R TOTAL 1 Momoko Ueda -14 F -4 65 69 68 202 2 Gemma Dryburgh -13 F -7 71 67 65 203 3 Miyuu Yamashita -12 F -3 67 68 69 204 4T Sakura Koiwai -10 F -2 66 70 70 206 4T Saiki Fujita -10 F -3 71 66 69 206 4T Jeongeun6 Lee -10 F -3 69 68 69 206 4T Linn Grant -10 F -5 69 70 67 206 4T Yuna Nishimura -10 F -5 70 69 67 206 9T Ai Suzuki -9 F 0 65 70 72 207 9T Kana Nagai -9 F -3 68 70 69 207 9T Pajaree Anannarukarn -9 F -3 69 69 69 207 9T Ayaka Furue -9 F -2 66 71 70 207
I think Dryburgh shot her wad for the week, but she has come a long way from 13 months ago when she was a replacement at the Galloway pro-am and had to wait for a drop-out to get into the stinkin' Shoprite/Acer tournament.
Shibuno Fever (E)
Yuna is another one trying to win her way OUT of the LPGA q-series.
If Momoko wins, it's because she is still a genius wedge player ... which is probably how she birdied all four par-5 holes on Saturday.
The broadcast showed Linn Grant's tee ball at #18 ... never saw her play before, displayed a vicious driver swing.

Jeong Eun6 Lee had another round in the sixties, four shots out of the lead. However, her chance of winning is not good with Momoko and Miyu at the top of the Leader Board. As usual she is the only LPGA Korean player in the top twenty-five.

Gemma is proving The Expert wrong ... rolling in bombs all over the place ... should win unless she chokes on the last three holes ... and why she should she? It's a resort course, where is the danger? Certainly NOT from the rough ... an occasional tricky putt is required, that's about it. I can't understand why so many of the LPGA "names" have been so ordinary this week.
Kana looked great, played great, but it won't be enough. Oh, did I also say she looked great?
******
The Toto Neorest crapper is being advertised frequently on the stream. I looked it up on Lowes ... there are several models ... the one under the plastic dome at the course goes for $8,745.

The LPGA hasn't posted its Round Four highlight reels yet. The TBS stream cut off two minutes ahead of sked, so I didn't see Dryburgh's last putt.
