This one runs Oct. 13-15 ... after some sober thinking, I have decided that there is NO way I am driving through The Bronx to see this one ... the venue is Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point ... the city of New York owns it and Agent Orange operates it.
With the LPGA off that week, this is the best non-major on the LET sked and they have 15 open spots, so let your imagination run wild ... how about MHL ... how about Su Oh ... how about Sharon using this as a warm-up before Stage Two Q-school.
Some of the better names already in the field: Inky, Dame Laura, Hull, Pace, Ciganda, EKP, Stark, Nordqvist, UCLA Law, Kyriacou, French Gamecock, Nuria, Hedwall, Sagstrom, Kim Metraux, Becky Morgan, Leona and AVD.
Golf.com has this 3-minute video on the course from 2014:

No Nelly, nor Jessica; is Aramco stingy with appearance fees?

The article above announces the inclusion of The ECP ... I already knew about Leona playing this one. It also mentions that Korda One & Two and LEXI (TM) committed to this event in September ... it would be nice if someone would update the field list on the LET website one of these days. I guess a few openings remain ... Georgia Hall and Gimmee aren't in the online field list, which probably means they committed to this event in July.

They're starting tomorrow and no tee times posted yet ... I'll guess they'll take care of this tonight ... Wed. is probably a pro-am day.
Various swings from Tuesday:
The teams are set (one amateur will be added to each pro threesome). Inky the semi-retiree is not one of the captains, so Capt. Annie Park picked her ... they might win.

Wednesday pro-am:
A rare "thumbs up" fashion statement by Annie Park ... I checked Getty and she wore this cardigan at Chevron. The club she's holding has a Project X 5.5 shaft.
I don't think she needs Leo this week.
AVD (seated) with Mia Baker, who has the title "Golf Presenter" in the photo caption. What is a "Golf Presenter?"
Does Maja Stark know what a "Golf Presenter" is?

The course was set at only 6346 yards, but this elite field still got butchered.
Pos Player Name Nat. Par Score
Manon De Roey (BEL) BEL -4 68 2 Nelly Korda (USA) USA -2 70 Madelene Sagstrom (SWE) SWE -2 70 4 Lexi Thompson (USA) USA -1 71 Pia Babnik (SLO) SLO -1 71 6 Nicole Garcia (RSA) RSA Par 72 Brooke M Henderson (CAN) CAN Par 72 Chloe Williams (WAL) WAL Par 72 Stephanie Kyriacou (AUS) AUS Par 72 Annabel Dimmock (ENG) ENG Par 72 Kylie Henry (SCO) SCO Par 72
Annie (+2) and Inky (+6) did not cover themselves in glory ... except for Annie's eagle at #2, they stunk up the par-5 holes. However, Team Park is only four shots out of the team lead, thanks to amateur Eddie Royal (I assume this is the guy who played in the NFL for nine years), who birdied both par-fives on the back nine.
There is only one playing here, if you get my drift .... I'm guessing that's old, broken-down T-Mac on her bag.
Perfect wear spot alert: UCLA Law (left) shot 75 (+3) ... I've always liked her ever since seeing her flush an iron off a compacted dirt cart path at the Seaview. Teammate is Annabel Dimmock.

I didn't know they had a cut for this one ... they didn't do that last year ... I guess they don't want to finish in the dark tomorrow like they did last year. Among the 14 players given their walking papers were Inky, Pace, Becky Morgan, Beth Allen and America's Guest (Nat Nat), who shot 84-83, DFL. As a result, the team competition was wrapped up today and the winners were three Euros nobody cares about.
They shortened the course to 6288 yards today.

They chopped the course again for Round Three ... down to 6132 yards ... 58 yards LESS than what the Ivy League played on Monday at Baltusrol.

As I wrote earlier, Leo was not needed this week.
