LPGA 2022 Mid-Season Rookie Report Card. With the LPGA season about half complete I would like to take a look at how the rookies are faring so far this year. I will do this again a final time at the end of the season. womensgolf.com/lpga-2022-mid-season-rookie-report

Enjoy reading these - tks for posting here. You are, as you warn, harsh, which is good. But all seem quite fair grades. Was thinking B+ for Shibuno is a bit lenient - but I guess her season has been deceptively good (and perhaps I had too high expectations). Can't argue with #30 on Race to CME (current standings, but will drop a bit after Evian performance - or lack thereof, haha) - but she should be contending more.
Na Rin's B might be a bit inflated - but again maybe I'm clouded by expectations. From her IG posts from a while ago, I don't think she's been completely healthy lately, which would account for her recent bad play.
ROY race is far from over (I think/hope).

I thought there were more than just two Korean rookies on tour this year. Oh well. Quick question. How many KLPGA wins do each of the Korean rookies have?

Like So Yeon Ryu I saw Maddie Szeryk win the first Tournament she played as a Pro on the Cactus Tour. She was also a great golfer at Texas A&M. The only thing that I figured would hold her back is her distance off the tee. Still her game was solid and I thought she would be farther along on the Tour by now.
