I have been asked many times how the LPGA constructs their field lists for tournaments. The Priority List is what is used to fill the required amount of spots for any given tournament. Here is the complete 2022 LPGA Priority list. womensgolf.com/2022-lpga-priority-list

Nice! ...and how is 87. Charlotte Thomas on the major winners list? Is that a mistake?
Also, any idea what the highest number on the priority list to get into a tournament has been? Have they ever gone beyond category 14, Top 45 Q Series?

Have they ever gone beyond category 14, Top 45 Q Series? It's kind of a glitch in the way the LPGA handles their medical exemptions. Thomas had to keep her number 87 ranking because of her exemption, and it happened to fall into that category. There seems to be a couple of those oddities every year. To answer your second question..yes they have gone beyond category 14. It went to category 18 a few times last year.

Does anyone know why Gerina Piller is listed as Gerina Mendoza? That was her maiden name.

Mendoza is a cool name. Piller not so much. Kayne, Prince & Sean Combs all changed their names. Hopefully she didn't give Martin the heave ho.

The Epson Tour posted its Priority List yesterday ... MHL at #104, which would give her a slumming pass for 2022 ... if she wants to take it. Getting a top-10 ranking on the Epson year-end money list is a helluva lot better than going through Q-Series again ... but, no hints about her future on her IG.

It's amazing what 3.830 CME points can do for you ... the LPGA posted the reshuffle list yesterday and MHL jumped up over 20 spots to #164. She jumped up about the same amount to #120 on the Shoprite/Acer field list.
