No, they didn't get the top earners from the KLPGA and CLPGA in a Skins Game. Instead, GolfZon is sponsoring a virtual battle between four of the most popular spokesmodels who sometimes play on those tours: Korea will be represented by Hyun Ju Yoo and So Hyeon Ahn, neither of whom currently have full cards on the KLPGA. China sends in Sui Xiang and Zhang Weiwei. The Chinese gals will play in China, the Koreans in Seoul. The battle will be on YouTube February 27th at 3:00 (presumably Korea time) at GolfZon's Youtube channel!

This thread title had "ROUT" written all over it ... until I opened it. Hmm ... I could make the case that Weiwei Zhang is the best player of the four ... China might have a 35-40% chance of winning it.

I will try to watch this tonight ... set my cell phone for a 1 AM EST wake-up. They are pumped up in China over this ... prime photo galleries of the participants:
Hyun Joo Yoo -
So Hyeon Ahn -
Weiwei Zhang -

YouTube is supposed to be one of the LIVE outlets and there other broadcast links in the Feb. 17 post on Golfzon's FB page:

It's running LIVE now at the above link.
The first hole was tied and ROK won the second hole, picking up a skin of $500 USD. Only one player per team is playing each hole. The game is moving fast, they just halved the 3rd hole. Xiang is at least 20 yards shorter with the driver than the other three players.
Now they are playing each hole as alternate shot ... I don't know the rules. Thru six holes, KOR won another hole worth $500 USD. Zhang is the longest driver here and needs to get out of China ASAP. She just made a birdie putt at #7, winning $1,250 USD.

Koreans cleaning up now - after 14. Zhang is long, but wild. Koreans seem to be better putters.

Hyunju's got length too. Maybe if she spent more time on practice than modelling she'd be able to stay on tour.

Hyun Ju impressed me with her length a few times last year. Tee to green she seems fairly solid, it looks like it's her short game that lets her down.
Both she and So Hyeon Ahn were just about good enough to maintain tour cards on the KLPGA, which means they are decent. Xiang also played on the KLPGA, remember, but her record was far more spotty. I have no idea how Zhang would fare there.
