It kicks off Friday, May 29. Bo Mi Lee is skipping this one, but Erika Kikuch is back from taking last week off. Jae Eun Jung will play. SBS Golf will show rounds 2 & 3 on the weekend at 5PM Korea time.
The marathon continues...33 players have teed it up for 12 weeks in a row. Lucky for them Japan is a small country, so the travel isn't too brutal. Only one player has played all 38 rounds, Ritsuko Ryu, but she is skipping this tourney.

more pics, video and leaderboard on my blog: Teresa Lu Wins 2015 Resort Trust Ladies (JLPGA), Defends 2014 TitleTeresa LuFor an avid LPGA fan like myself, the JLPGA’s 2015 Resort Trust Ladies top finishers were a tip of the hat to some familiar names. Soo-Yun Kang, winner of the LPGA’s 2005 Safeway Classic, had by far her best tournament of the season. It wasn’t just that she finished tied for 4th. She’s had a few other top 10s. What was most impressive was her overall play, bettering her best score of the season coming in (5-under) by 100% (10-under) with a sensational 11 birdies and a lone bogey. At 39, Kangsy appears to still have it in her if she wants to continue playing for years to come. Another familiar name, Jiyai Shin, finished in solo 2nd at 13-under. The 11-time LPGA winner (including 2 Majors) is also a 10-time JLPGA winner. I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it, I wish Jiyai were still playing in the States. But if she’s happy, then I’m happy for her. It appeared Jiyai was on her way to JLPGA win number 11 at 13-under. But the winner, former LPGA player Teresa Lu, who played in the final group with Yukari Nishiyama and overnight leader Kaori Ohe, would vault from 12-under after 16 to 14-under with two clutch birdies on 17 and 18. I give Jiyai a lot of credit. She actually gave genuine applause sitting in and watching Teresa stick her approach on 18 two feet from the hole for a birdie attempt that would eliminate Jiyai from a possible playoff. In winning, Lu successfully defends the title she won here last year. For her victory, she earned 14.4 million yen (around 116,000 USD), which has Teresa in 3rd place at the moment on the JLPGA money list at 52.036 million yen (around 419,000 USD). It’s Lu’s 2nd JLPGA victory this season and 6th of her career. Gongxi ni, Lu Xiaoqing! 1 TERESA LU (-14) 2 JIYAI SHIN (-13) 3 YUMIKO YOSHIDA (-12) T4 SOO-YUN KANG (-10) T4 YUKO MITSUKA (-10) T4 KAORI OHE (-10)

You are correct...Lu Xiaoqing is 2nd! Had the Yen amount correct (52.036 million) but whiffed on the placement. Haha...serves me right for trying to pay attention to watching Roland Garros while posting about Teresa p.s. - For those that don't know, that's South Korea's Bo-Mee Lee in first place.

It was an interesting week. On the KLPGA, JLPGA and LPGA, I liked the players who won this week; but in all three cases I was rooting for someone else more. I really would have loved for either Jiyai or Kangsy, two of my all time favorites, to win in Japan, and I was really pulling for Ha Neul in Korea. And in America, well, I didn't really think a Sister was going to win (sorry, Kelly), but I was hoping Inbee could get that #1 and she just missed it. I guess I'm giving the week a solid 'B'.

Tried to reply above. How could anyone not recognize Bo-Mee. You are right. Nobody on this board wouldn't know Bo-Mee, that's for sure...but I also post on mylpga where not everybody knows the JLPGA and KLPGA stars. I cut and pasted from that forum
