Yeah, I'm thinking more about skiing than golf right now. Still, it's great to see that Inbee has her eyes on the prize. And if she keeps producing rounds like she did Thursday, it could be a great year. Bogey free!
Nice start, too, for Danielle. The articles on GolfChannel all talk about how she's coming for Jin Young Ko's #1 ranking. I think she has a long way to go for that, but nice start.
Sei Young is right there, too. I don't think a Sister has ever followed a season-ending win with a victory at the first event of the next year, so she has a chance to make a little history.
I watched the first part until Inbee's interview, then fast forwarded most of the rest. Annoying that they set it up so Henderson, Lexi et al were in the late groups so they had no one else to show but them and "celebrities".
I'm not sure I intentionally watched any of the celebrity stuff, but every time I stopped fast forwarding, it seemed to be some country singer I've never heard of shilling his latest record.
It is kind of interesting that the final two in the "Player of the Decade" tournament are at the top right now. Needless to say, I'm rooting for Inbee to get this one as well. She seems to be playing pretty solidly so far: no bogies, and strong tee to green game, even in the wind. Sei Young Kim is also right there, and Amy Yang has moved into position as well.
In Gee is stuck in neutral. Look, it could be worse: dig how terribly Ariya is playing right now. 9 over! What is up with that?
