Give credit where it's due: The KLPGA has been doing wrap-around seasons LONG before the PGA Tour thought of it. They start the next decade next Friday in Vietnam with a field of 102. I think this is the pro debut of Yae Eun Hong. IG starlet So Hyeon Ahn will also tee it up.

Not a good start for Seung Yeon Lee and Ayean Cho with the missed cut. They will be just fine. I had Jeongmin skipping this Tournament. I guess in a way with plus eleven she did. Maybe she hasn't gotten over the loss to Lydia Ko.  She also has time to regroup like she did last year. There is a plus sixteen score cut on the KLPGA They cut Laura Hoskin, plus seventeen after the first round. |

Yeah, it's hard to read too much into the results right now. Everybody's tired, some of them have played outside of Korea very rarely as pros, and it's going to be a few months before the KLPGA starts up again in earnest. So, bummer that they flew all that way for nothing, but they have plenty of time to work it out!
