Except for Hye Jin Choi in the Final Group and Ex LPGA player Ha Na Jang. I guess a Memo was sent out to ignore the other KLPGA Golfers. They showed LPGA Golfers that was over par but not one other KLPGA Golfer. Give em a break IMO. This has to be a tough week for the American LPGA contingent. When the KLPGA and LPGA meet now, growth and decline are put into such stark relief.

The broadcast is set up to show the famous players those days. Then they show the leaders on Saturday and Sunday.

Seung Yeon Lee is still hanging in there. I don't expect her to win but a top ten would be nice. Who knows she may surprise me and get a top five.
Jin Young is right where she needs to be on the weekend.
So Yeon is in decent shape, but too many great players ahead of her. A top ten would be a nice tournament for her.
Jeongeun Lee6, I expect to rebound with a good round today.

IDK...seems like there are many many very good young KLPGA players even comparable if not better than those Korean players on LPGA.....and sometimes I think players like maybe IK are intimidated by those many, such that she seems not happy to play much anymore....she's getting older and seems to have developed many other interests....whereas players like Ji continue to play a lot and succeed and seem to enjoy the travel and competition....I personally would like to see these experienced players continue well into their later years as we've come to know them quite well through their golf...just saying.

This tournament is where it's at. This is what LPGA golf should look like in any given week. Enough with the snoozefests in Rogers, Arkansas or Sylvania, Ohio or whatever. Literally nobody in those such places has two shits to give about this sport.

I was hoping that Seung Yeon Lee would get more time on the Broadcast. I got a bonus more tv exposure and she played great. No matter how she plays tomorrow, which I hope is good. She has had a great tournament.
Somi Lee is tied for the top, but could have had maybe three more birdies.
It's a great Leaderboard for the KLPGA golfers. I was worried in the middle of the KLPGA season about not having many stars. I don't need to worry anymore, because the young golfers are on the rise.
Jin Young had a pedestrian day on the putting green 33 putts.. But she is still close enough to make a run.
Great round by In Gee Chun and rebound round by Jeongeun Lee6
So Yeon had her usual round with five birdies but three bogeys.

The commentary is horrendous. Kate Burton is even more annoying than Stupples. Only 2 announcers in the booth, while the third is on a rotating break (probably "sampling" soju in the hospitality tent). And no on-course reporting.
The low-rent production values are understandable for Shanghai or Taiwan. But this is the new LPGA signature event in Korea, the 21st century Home of Golf.
Couldn't Karen have at least twisted IMG's arm to hire her boyfriend to follow the leaders?

I watched the Round Three replay at my parents' place this afternoon. Ol' Randall better start ranting again. Excluding DK, the first 18 names on the leaderboard had no one from The Anglosphere The Caucasphere The Solheim Sorority The Old Girls' Network.
All the logic in me says Su Oh will gag (and she opened with a bogey on Sunday), but I hope I'm dead wrong.
********
I'll settle for table scraps .... try to finish ahead of The Pink One

Round 3 On the one hand, it was a great day for In Gee, possibly her best round of the year! She made a sensational birdie on 16. On the other hand, I think she had the only bogey we saw on 18, which was incredibly frustrating. Still, all in all, awesome stuff. I am still unspoiled as to the result, so I will just say Go In Gee! and hope I will be thrilled when I see the tournament tomorrow night. Lee 6 had a nice day, and a great birdie on the last. Jin Young looked about as annoyed as I've seen her all year. She was happy to chuck that ball into the stands. But she's just four back, so she should redouble her efforts Sunday! She is totally capable of grabbing this one. Ha Na recovered nicely from the tee shot in the water. Kang got uber lucky she avoided the water on 16. So Mi Lee and Seung Yeon Lee have one win between them. They are talented, but this is going to be a whole new level of pressure. Personally, I think a win for either one puts them squarely into Q Baek territory (the last KLPGA rook to win on LPGA); ie, not good for their careers. So hopefully Ha Na, In Gee or one of the stars can rally and get this. Go Sisters!!!!
