I took the LPGA's Twitter poll on which player would win their individual matches. It came out 6-6. Ha!
Ciganda, N. Korda, Hall, Boutier, Munoz, Hull, Salas, J. Korda, Altomare, Law, Alex and Pressel.

I'm in general agreement, but McDonald should definitely beat Law...maybe AVD can sneak past Salas, while Lexi can knock off Hall. I don't know if it was an accident, but the Euros caught a break by getting their most competitive matches at the start...if they win them, that puts additional pressure on the USA during the later matches. I would have put both Kordas at the beginning for some shock & awe, followed by McDonald, Lexi and Annie. Good move having the Pressel insurance policy at the end.

Stick a fork in this thing. The Men’s Only Golf Media tore it apart for slow play and it’s all the chuds have to react to online. (There are some Cal Ripken Jr. like streaks of media members not being able to enjoy a women’s golf event. Surely it’s the gals fault.)
It’s blowing 40 and they are wearing mittens FFS.
I think it’s coming down to Pressel and Nordqvist.

Wie is great on golf channel. She must not be into on course interviews, which she mails in by comparison.

I'm disappointed they're not using the same starter that does the Scottish Open. I was hoping to learn some new nicknames.
Although that guy probably wouldn't have any trouble pronouncing the names in this gang.

From what I've read, the woman who announces the JLPGA players at the tee is extremely precise and serious regarding her pronunciations. There would be no HoJos and Sung Hungs over there.
Foltzy says Lexi had bad back spasms this AM, but Hall couldn't beat her with a stick anyway.

US Solheim vets are leading from behind.

Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion. Suzanne Peterson. Wow.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade so I'll highlight the positives.
No face paint, no hair ribbons, no nail polish.
GC's Muni He promo was in heavy rotation throughout the tournament.
For the most part, the TV coverage was exceptional. GC threw all its assets at this event (along with Mr. Solheim's wallet) and it showed.
The two teams' golf quality and skill levels were well matched to each other.
So there's that.

Someone has to get their piggy bank out like the Solheim's did if ROK is going to take on the rest of the world in something major.

Damn it I am glad for the result but bummed that I tuned out completely. Suzann is literally radiating light right now in her post-round. Maybe this is actually a turning point for the (failing) American golf establishment, light a fire under some butts. Michelle looks good behind the desk. But I can't even watch on mute. Can still see that mouth moving, brain struggling etc.

Yawn. She'll be back, eventually, in some form or other. Is my bet.
