Kristen Gillman is not returning to put the minor leaguers in their place. Sierra Brooks (U. of Florida) will return...this must be like her fourth tournament in Japan, at least. I don't what her connection is there (aside from being being blonde).
It runs July 26-28 at Ishizaka GC, about 30 miles NW of downtown Tokyo.
Weekend TV only (Japan time):

I forgot to mention that Atthaya Thitikul is also in this one...as of now, the JLPGA is still calling her that. However, per her IG account, she is now using her nickname as her regular name, becoming Jeeno Thitikul.
This is like Thidapa S. turning into Jasmine S. on the LPGA tour...and if Jeeno wins on Sunday (which is not a crazy thought), the locals might call her Gillman #2.

Japan's Step Up tour is playing the ANA Princess Cup, July 24-26. Round One has started, but I don't see any streaming links set up in YouTube. The field includes Yuting Seki, Nook Sukapan, Chanmee Kim, Miyuki Takeuchi, Mayu Hattori, Momoka Miura, Pei Ying Tsai and both Hori sisters.

There go the Koreans again, ruining everything in women's golf. Well, if Kotone is serious about her comeback, she should get acclimated to beating the best now.

The cut was +1 and 52 players made it. Do they hand out low am trophies when all six ams miss the cut? That includes Yae Eun Hong (+9).

I'm surprised there isn't much Sierra Brooks chatter in the North American Golfisphere.

Shin Ae and Ha Neul get so close as far as making cuts. Not seeing them play I wonder what is holding them back. I wish that the elitist JLPGA would stream their tournaments earlier.

Her first win in her first season on the big tour...had five top-10s before this one.
Birdied #18 for the win
I was hoping Na Ri Lee's -8 would get her into a playoff...hasn't won since 2013.

Not doing any stats after this one. Because there will be hardly any changes on top ten.
