Is there some reason why number nine hole is a par six. They never showed the full layout of the hole. I kind of recall playing a seven hundred yard hole a par six.

The scorecard on the KLPGA website says #9 is a par-6 of 778 yards. The website for Interburgo CC has an illustration indicating it's a downhill drive. There are five tee boxes ranging between 690 and 790 yards. It is a dead-straight hole. A satellite view shows a fairway bunker on the left about three-fourths of the way downrange. The green is completely flanked on the left side by sand. The nine-hole Mountain course is serving as the first nine holes of this event. The back nine is represented by the Valley Course.

Round 2: Jin Young Ko Takes the Lead
Jin Young Ko is trying to take advantage of In Gee Chun's absence by claiming her second win of 2015. Ko finished second to Chun at the Samchully event, then won when Chun dropped out the following week. On Saturday she shot a 5 under par 68 to move to 8 under and a one shot lead. Immediately behind her is Seon Woo Bae. Bae has hovered around leaderboards the past couple of years but has never won on tour. Se Mi Jo is among those four back tied for third. Yoon Kyung Heo is at 2 under, six back. One more day! Scores: 1. Jin Young Ko 68 -8 2. Seon Woo Bae 69 -7 3. Se Mi Jo 71, Jung Eun Lee 5 72 -4 5. Round 3: Jin Young Ko Wins Second Time in Last Three Events
Jin Young Ko started the day in the lead, barely. For a little while, her biggest challenger was not Seon Woo Bae, who started the day one back, but Cecilia Cho, who took a big run at her from far back. Cho came up short, though, winding up tied for third. Seon Woo Bae shot a 72; not bad but not great. Ko finally put the tournament out of reach by making birdies on 14 and 15. She shot a 70 and won by three shots. This is Jin Young's third career win, and should lift her into the top spot on the tour money list. Given that In Gee Chun just got done winning a Japanese tour Major, she will be coming back to Korea looking forward to a battle with Ko for that top honor. Looking forward to a great rivalry to develop! But for now, congratulations to Jin Young Ko on another great week! Scores: 1. Jin Young Ko 70 -11 2. Seon Woo Bae 72 -8 3.
