The LPGA had its first reshuffle of its Priority List this week. While most of the players moved up or down a few insignificant spots, there were some very significant moves also. Not good news for Muni He www.tonyslpgareport.com/

What was Cheyenne Woods' ranking before the reshuffle? She is now #165, which might be good enough to get her into a poor ShopRite field without qualifying...although she is one of thirty players signed up for next Monday's qualifier. At #158, Karen Chung is a lock to get into ShopRite, since they announced Fassi (#159) and Kupcho are playing ShopRite. But, I'm surprised Karen chose to skip Valley Forge this week, which is not that far away from Shop-Rite. As for Muni, ShopRite announced she was in the field three weeks ago...so if #172 is not good enough, will they drop her? They could give her a free pass, but Nat Nat and V.E. Carta are already sponsor invites...isn't two the limit?

Muni will get in the field in spite of her ranking, as will players ranked below her because so many players are skipping this event after the U.S. Women's Open.

I expected Youngin Chun to drop lower, am glad she didn't. She can play in Shoprite is good news. But having to depend on twenty three players dropping out other events, isn't.
Jin Young will probably skip the Shoprite. Which if she does, she will play the Meijer Classic. I asked her Manager if she will play and they hadn't decided on Meijer yet. I hoped she does, because she was minus fourteen last year. Oh, yeah I will be there.
Letting the College golfer that qualify Q-School defer one year, I understand. But what about a non LPGA player that earns her card by winning the last tournament. Defer for one year to make up their mind. It's a big decision for a foreign player to prepare for a completely different culture.
