Japan’s first major of 2015 has a field of 120, including LPGAers Jessica Korda, Ai Miyazato, and Mika Miyazato. It seems that Soo Jin Yang’s Japan appearance last week was a one-shot, as she is in the field for the KLPGA event of this week. Unless they make a last-minute change, SBS Golf will not be showing this one. Can anyone post a Japanese streaming link that will have this event? There are a few Japanese channels at tv-on.in/, but I don't know if any of them carry golf. Practice for Erika Kikuchi

Why would Korda and IK Kim be playing this?.....do they have some Japanese sponsors?
Isn't rare that Ai-Chan plays on the JLPGA?
I just found out last week that HYP had plastic surgery....we know Sharon has.....has Sky gone under the knife too?

IK is supposedly playing simply because its a major and she wants to play the big tournament after taking last week off. Don't know about the others, but why not get some major practice in during the LPGA off week?
And not that it matters much, but where did you hear that about HYP? Just curious.

I just found out last week that HYP had plastic surgery....we know Sharon has.....has Sky gone under the knife too? Wouldn't be shocked. Korea has incredibly intense beauty standards. Plastic surgery is huge over there. I hear a lot about K-Pop stars that go under the knife, and the most famous story was Chae-rin Lee, known as CL, who was told by her record label that she needed plastic surgery and she refused. Honestly, it's one of the dark sides to Korean culture, and if you read comments about Japan Vs Korea, you see some comments from Koreans talking about how ugly Japanese girls are. Hey, every society has their demons. Americans are gun toting religious nuts, Koreans are shallow and judgmental, Canadians are afraid of the dark, we all have things we wish we didn't.

Re: Jessica Korda & IKKim playing this tournament, I think it is common for one or more of the LPGA "stars" to be in the field. Some years ago (2009 ?) Morgan Pressell won this, and she defended the next year as well. I think Paula also played in it earlier.

I don't know anything about HYP getting some "work" done on her. Some older pix I've seen of her indicate she had problem skin, but it seems to have cleared up. It great news that Inky is in town for this one...appears to be in good spirits. I wonder if S.S. Feng is here...she finished in 2nd place last year. Another unexpected guest: In Gee Chun (right) with Ai Miyazato L to R: Hikari Fujita, Jessica Korda, Ai Miyazato, Misuzu Narita, Erika Kikuchi, Bo Mee Lee

There would be no internet traffic if there wasn't gossip. Look....the GC site has an article on the bookmaker's odd on Tiger's next girl friend....look...Kim Kardashian is at 40:1.....lol. www.golfchannel.com/news/grill-room/wanna-bet-bookmakers-set-odds-tigers-next-girlfriend

Yes....I remember Morgan winning a JLPGA major and yes I believe The Pink Diva has played JLPGA events.....Golf Digest Japan loves her and she likely plays with some important Ricoh customers and executives on her trip too.

Feng.....you're ALWAYS picking on the Chinese.....hey wait....I'm Chinese??? Ai-Chan is always styling at gala events...she, Ryu and Nicole Castrale set themselves apart at these events....always classic, elegant and stylin. Korda looks like a giraffe standing next to these gals.....Korda is so funny and goofy. Phil....you must be in FANdom heaven....Erika and Bo Lee next to each other. I could see you standing outside the hotel hoping someone would scalp a ticket to the dinner....lol.
