I agree with whomever here said that once Kupcho ripped up the back 9 from the members tees that there was no way they'd let the pro women embarrass the members with 59's.

The ANWA exists as defensive measure to guarantee that they would NEVER have to allocate an entire week to an LPGA tourney. Even the ANWA is structured so they only have to allocate 10 rounds, on half a day, for Women's competitive golf. And they totally got away with it. They were LAUDED for their efforts. So the Ladies get to play St. Andrews every 8 years, but Augusta never??? Also, when Ladies play Augusta it plays the way the course was intended. Not driver wedge on 13. You might think they would embrace that, but no... it's an " Iron My Shirt" mentality

The ANWA is a good setup. Leave it to the young Amateur’s to play Augusta before they realize there are better courses.
They have already played on the Old Course, Oakmont and Royal Melbourne. I wonder if National Golf Links would be up for it. The green jackets could eat their heart out.
