 The weight of all the negative publicity surrounding YG Entertainment has led to its co-founder and public face, Yang Hyun-suk (left in accompanying photo), stepping down from the company. It was actually his younger brother Yang Min-suk (right) who ran the day to day affairs of the company as CEO, but he too has chosen to resign. Collectively the brothers controlled approximately 20% of the shares in the publicly traded entertainment and sports marketing agency, which took a hit on the Seoul exchange not just from the Burning Sun scandal but from the more recent but unrelated drug scandal surrounding B.I.
