An interesting article in the Korean press today compared the KLPGA to the KPGA. Some stats:
The KLPGA has 29 events this year, compared to 15 for the men.
The total purse on the KLPGA is 20 billion won vs. 9.9 billion won for the men.
I suspected the KLPGA was doing better than the KPGA, but twice as well? Wow!

Not a surprise to me. There really isn't an Asian LPGA Tour, and the one that exists only has a couple of events. On the men's side, there are far better Tours in Asia, including the Asian, the OneAsian, and even the Japan Golf Tour. There is more incentive for the ladies to stay in Korea, while the men have incentive to leave.
