This four-rounder starts Thursday, but they'll have no TV for Thursday and Friday.
TV Tokyo will have the regular broadcast on the weekend (local time):
Sat. 4 PM Sun. 4 PM
They'll have some 1st Hole coverage for Saturday and Sunday...try this search string on Youtube:

I really appreciate the links given. They have proved a very suitable alternative to me while the KLPGA stream was being geo-blocked. It was so annoying to be watching the PGA on SBS, and then right at 10:00 PM CDT, The KLPGA would come on and then zap, only watchable in S. Korea. However I am now familiar with the Japanese players and enjoy watching them.

The Step Up Tour broadcast is on a 90-minute break. The first 30 minutes was a Maruman infomercial for its Dangan 7 driver. Now they're showing BuzzGolf TV.

Only 16 out of 77 players under par during the early going at Nitori. Min Young Lee dropped out after six holes with right wrist pain.
Eight Head, Rie Tsuji and Jae Eun Chung

With a field of 120, I assume the cut will be the top-60 plus ties (currently +2).

Chie Arimura had an early tee-off and charged to the front at -7, ahead by two shots with three holes remaining. I'm intrigued by her current brand of shoe, New Balance. I love NB walking shoes...are the NB golf shoes just as good? I went to the PGA Superstore website and they have only three models of NB (two colors for each model)...and if you're a woman, forget it, they have nothing!

The top-63, +4 or better, survived. They had another incorrect scorecard ejection, Kumiko Kaneda, who opened with a 77.
RANK PLAYER SCORE TODAY 1R 2R 3R 4R TOTAL 1 Serena Aoki -8 -4 68 68 136 2 Chie Arimura -7 -4 69 68 137 3 Kana Mikashima -6 -1 67 71 138 4T Teresa Lu -5 -4 71 68 139 4T Haruka Morita -5 -3 70 69 139 4T Ayaka Watanabe -5 -3 70 69 139 4T Ah-Reum Hwang -5 -2 69 70 139 8T Sun-Ju Ahn -4 -2 70 70 140 8T Mamiko Higa -4 -4 72 68 140 8T Jiyai Shin -4 -2 70 70 140
Do not adjust your TV screeens...never mind, it wasn't televised. I'm convinced Weiwei Zhang (MC) looked great before putting on a Mediheal mask...but her right hand doesn't look so hot.
Does Ayaka Watanabe have her groove back?
Haruka Morita
Sky Kim (+1)
Sakura Koiwai (MC)
Bo Mee Lee (MC) and Miyuki Takeuchi (+3)
Jae Eun Chung (-2) and Shoko Sasaki (+1)
Ah Reum Hwang and her putting guru Saiki Fujita (+4)

If the cut is top sixty, that means Kotone Hori is back to missing cuts. Plus four second round would put he one stroke over the cut, tied for sixty four.

Maybe they received that bad weather from Korea, too. The first tee times for Saturday have been pushed to 10:45 AM.
Update: Now the first group starts at 11:30 AM.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BmnmrJMgtl6 Just checked the scoreboard. Believe it or not Ms Hwang is right back in the thick of it again. Another victory would propel her right up the money list! Unfortunately she dropped to a +4 for the roumd and is 4 strokes off the pace. I was watching the SBS edition of the JLPGA.

Round Three was completed on Sunday (below) and Round Four has started. This looks like Big Mama Ahn's week, but it's still close enough for a handful of other players to sneak in there for the win.

Sun Ju Ahn hit three lousy drives on the last four holes and still couldn't lose...that's #4 this year and #27 overall. More pics later.
