After hitting into the hazard on 7, Amy Yang disregarded two marshalls who were right there who both said it went over the green. Instead she took a MUCH less favorable lie that resulted in a double bogey. Tom, Jerry, Grant and Karen were all apopleptic, saying there is no way any other player (much less one in contention on Sunday) would voluntarily take a worse lie than what was reported by the marshalls on scene. But she honestly felt the ball must have crossed in the much less favorable position.
A good lesson to those players who might take unfair advantage when the opportunity presents itself. Cough.

Ariya did it, she hit a 303 yard drive.
Did she unleash a driver?

This tournament is like sprinting over a mile; a -8 makes a difference but -4 not much.

Well So Yeon had another tale of two nines, minus four on the front, plus one on the back. She must have hit into the water on the 139 yard 15 hole to make a double. To be honest, minus 13 or eighteen wouldn't make that much difference. Only thing it cost her was a little extra prize money.
A great tournament for Jin Young Ko, top four finish.
Sung Hyun Park has a lot going for her this year, as far as winning. One tournament win is shorten to 36 holes, next So Yeon with a two shot lead. With two holes to go hit in the water to make a double bogey.
Now Lizette misses a very short birdie on eighteen for the win.
However Sung Hyun doesn't need to apologize for the win. She did her part for the wins, not responsible for what they didn't do.
Edit: Almost forgot, really good tournament for Mi Hyang Lee, should make Phil happy.

Salas' missed short putt on 18 in regulation is a microcosm of what's wrong with American players. They can't apply that coup-de-grace to pull out the victory. You can't give Sung Hyun Park a second chance and she took it.

Two of my favorites So Yeon and Jessica didn't have good tournaments at the birdie fest. I am not too sure why they would make the last hole so short. One of my golfing buddies mentioned, that is why the LPGA doesn't get respect.

Q: What woman on the golf course received the biggest payout this past weekend? Answer below...hint: it wasn't Sung Hung.
Great week for MHL, who moved up six spots to #52 on the RR (her career high is #30). She's 76th on the official money list, which isn't so hot, but anywhere outside the top-80 would really bug me.
A: Mrs. C.T. Pan, $528,000

Are you going to explain to us how Ms. C.T. Pan made that money?

I just remembered that Sung Hyun drank milk from a bottle at the finish line. What if the winner is lactose-intolerant?
