In 2016-17, Baik had a 75.7 average in her senior season at Miss. St. Fellow senior Jessica Peng averaged 72.7...unfortunately, she's not a member on the KLPGA website, so I can't see a summary of her results from her "Big Break" invitations this year.

Slightly off-topic...the LPGA will have three off-weeks in September, plus the week of the UL Crown (Oct. 4-7) which will have an extremely limited field. I checked the JGA website and they just posted the first 16 names for the Japan Women's Open (Sept. 27-30), which include past champs Dumbo and the SS Feng. Nasa's name is not there, but I assume it will be added later as she goes for a hat trick, which was last achieved by Chako Higuchi winning the first four JWOs (1968-71). Japan likes MHL, but she'll probably have to up her game to get into this one again. The KLPGA is also off this particular week, so I expect a couple of heavyweights to come from there, too. I assume K. Gillman will be tied up in school and be unavailable, much to everyone's relief.

I wonder whether Kristen Gillman is as committed to her school as Leona Maguire is to Duke. She's scheduled to graduate in 2019; she should turn her attention squarely on pro events once she fulfills her duty in Ireland early September.
I wonder whether her JLPGA win earned her an automatic card? But it should warrant an invitation to Japan Women's Open if she's so inclined.
