Nice round by So Yeon today. Although she trails Tiffany,( who also had a good round today) by six shots. She still can make up ground on the weekend.
Jin Young could only manage minus one. Which is okay since she is new to Links Golf.

Good to see Mika Miyazato on the weekend leaderboard again. It's been a long time since she was there.

I liked Tiffany Joh's comment when she was asked how the scoreboard looked to her.
She said that when she saw the name Jutanagarn, the Jaws theme music came into her head.

It's usual to see a player follow up a career round with a poor one but Tiffany Joh had a very good round today. Nice to see Amy Yang contend again.
I guess the weather will be inclement tomorrow. The 3rd round will be interesting.

Round 2 Tiffany continued the ridiculous putting with a 67 to maintain a three shot lead heading into the weekend. She even got a chance to commentate, which is a definite bonus (for us, that is!). Many well-placed Sisters as well; let's hope they perform better on the weekend here than at Toledo two weeks ago. So Yeon, Sung Hyun, Amy, Jenny and Inky are all in great position, and Minjee will be paired with So Yeon to boot. Inky looked a bit ragged, but still managed a 70. If she can make it past that stuff, she might be one to watch on Saturday. Hilariously, the commentators mused about Jenny's accent sounding Aussie: 'do you think she's been hanging around Aussies?' they wondered. Good luck tomorrow. Hwaiting!

The weather raised havoc with the golfers today. Lots of high scores.
So Yeon's one over par was one of the better scores of the afternoon groups. So was Minjee's even par round.
A great three under par for Jin Young, which moved her way up the Leader Board.

The leaders fared far worse than the averages

Ok! What this is the second time that the announcers had the wrong score for So Yeon. They had her at six under going into eighteen and she made birdie. Which they said would put her in the last group. But she was actually five under after seventeen.
It's official, the announcers noticed that Sung Hyun Park was a slow player.

Round 3 Brutal day out there, but there were still a few good performances by the Sisters. Amy and So Yeon didn't exactly blister the field, but 73s allowed them to move up the board nonetheless. Amy's drive on 18 was awesome, leading to a nice little birdie, which somewhat offset that horrible break she got in the bunker on the previous hole. So Yeon hit a great approach there for a closing birdie, and went from six back to just two back entering Sunday. I feel like she is playing great right now, she just needs to stick in there and hope Jutanugarn doesn't hole out for eagle again. With Minjee and Haeji, five of the top six are Sisters. I'm hoping hard one of them can get that trophy. Go Sisters!! Farther back in the field, how about that Jin Ko!? I need to find out more about her. Oh, they meant Jin YOUNG Ko, eh? Yeah, LET folks, a word of advice: you don't abbreviate Korean names that way! It's not like they've had 20 years to learn that! Anyways, great job for Jin Young! She actually has a chance to steal this. Incredible. On the down side, Inky struggled, but still is only five back, and even Sung Hyun Park at 2 under has at least a chance at a top ten and maybe better. Sisters HWAITING!!!! So Yeon: more proof of her leg strength J Tibs
