One of the most jarring elements of this week has been the play of scoring leader Ji Hyun Oh. She has had a top ten in all but one event this year, but for whatever reason, she has struggled this week. She managed to make the cut, but shot a 79 on Saturday that included a quad bogey 9 on one of the back nine par 5's. She's now in last place among those who made the cut.
Yeesh! But she's a big talent, so hopefully she can turn it around and have a face saving round on Sunday (and hopefully it's just an off week and not an injury she's dealing with!).
I tried finding a Youtube stream for Round Four earlier tonight...no luck. I didn't miss anything...The Hulk leads by four shots with six holes remaining...this thing is over. Unlucky Six is limping to the finish line.
Ha Na was solid in tough conditions today. JE Lee had some moments on the front nine but had a hard time on the back, while Hye Jin made a nice run a little too late on the back (most of the back nine, Jang was well in control at 15 under with a three or four shot lead). Congrats to Ha Na Jang! She has established herself as the player to beat so far in 2018!
