She was leading for most of last week until she blew her engine in Round 3. Bo Mi Lee Ha Neul Kim is gonna hit the Jinro tonight...+3 75 (T-78) You think a win by Erika Kikuchi would be popular over there? She uses Titleist VG3 woods and irons which are exclusive to the Japanese market. Yeon Ju Jeong shot 70, Mi Jeong Jeon shot 71

Phil: I played with this Korean guy last Oct who bought some Japanese Titleist irons that looked like chunkier AP1's....I think he had Nippon shafts. He had a Graphite Design shaft in his driver....he was an average golfer.....I haven't played with his brother...he has a bit of game.

I guess not.

Some early pix of Round 3...I’m not watching the leaderboard to avoid spoiling myself when I get up (if I can) at 4 AM. For you gearheads, Ha Neul Kim has the Honma Tour World TW717 460 driver Bo Mi Lee sporting a surprisingly bland Le Coq Golf ensemble I don’t know if Ji Hee Lee is On or Off today...Young Kim hates the sun more than Dracula

RANK PLAYER SCORE TOTAL 1R 2R 3R PRIZE 優勝 Ritsuko Ryu -7 209 70 70 69 ¥14,400,000 2 Bo-Mee Lee -7 209 67 73 69 ¥7,040,000 3T Hiromi Mogi -6 210 69 71 70 ¥5,200,000 3T Yun-Jye Wei -6 210 71 69 70 ¥5,200,000 5T Jae-Eun Chung -5 211 72 69 70 ¥3,600,000 5T Erina Hara -5 211 73 68 70 ¥3,600,000 7T Esther Lee -4 212 69 74 69 ¥2,400,000 7T Erika Kikuchi -4 212 69 74 69 ¥2,400,000 Ritsuko Ryu beat Bo Mi Lee on the 3rd playoff hole. The par-5 18th was used for the playoff. The SBS broadcast picked it up on the third time through. However, they showed replays from the greens for the first two times. Lee was inside Ryu, but Ryu made birdies both times and Lee had to answer with her own birdies. For the third playoff, Lee had a little longer putt from the right of the flag, a left-to-righter that she missed. Ryu was on the other side of the flag and did not miss. Before the playoff I found it annoying that Ryu hit her lay-up into "the rough" on #18. At this time of year, they should call it "the soft". It's still dormant so Ryu got plenty of club on the ball with a lot of backspin for her third shot. Lee received no reward for keeping her ball in the fairway. Both players had the latest Honma Tour World TW727 drivers. The pix are too fuzzy to see if they’re 455cc or 460cc. Still, it was a great tournament for Bo Mi. She has such perfect tempo and balance...I don’t see how she can ever have a bad week. Showed some pop, too...drove it 267 on the par-4 17th. Another cutie on this tour is Erina Hara Erika Kikuchi (left)
