Now's past the time when we all begin thinking about what events we'll be attending this season, so now that I have an outline of my plans in place I'll start: My dream would be to go to Korea for two weeks in October: see some of the country the first week and attend the KEB/HanaBank the 2nd. For now that remains a dream. My more concrete plans are for late June, when I would fly into Memphis to visit my girlfriend for a few days and then drive to Rogers, Arkansas for the Walmart. If my girlfriend winds up having to go back to China before then I'll simply change my itinerary and fly into Little Rock or Tulsa instead. Yes, NW Arkansas does have a commercial airport but Southwest doesn't go there and I have free passes with them to use up. If I was so inclined I might also take in the final round of the new Symetra Tour event this August in Brockton, MA as well. What's everyone else up to this year?

I am heading back to Hawai'i next month. I so look forward to it. Unfortunately due to a big upcoming project at work, I won't be able to take much time off this summer so I can't make it to Vancouver. I might be able to catch the weekend action in Portland.

It will be a very busy week for me as I just purchased a ticket for Sunday's final round at Westchester, so I'll be driving down there from MA right after work Saturday/Sunday overnight. Then after I get home I have to start packing so that I can fly to Memphis that Friday, visit my girlfriend before she has to go back to China and then drive out to NW Arkansas the middle of the following week for that event.

Kind of embarrassing to admit this but it shows how closely I pay attention to men's golf:
Over the past week as I have been driving the area around Belmont, Waltham and Watertown during the course of performing my job I've been noticing generic looking parking signage for a golf tournament. Only yesterday as I was driving a customer past the Bentley University campus in Waltham on our way to Logan Airport did I see a sign with a logo, which instantly made me realize that the Senior Players Championship is being contested at Belmont CC. This would mark the first time since 2008 that the Champions Tour has been in New England, when they last played the Bank of America Championship at Nashawtuc CC in Concord. The 2006 edition of that event, you may recall, was cancelled because of the unusually wet spring we had that year, completely water logging the course. They'll have little difficulty getting this week's major played, given that we'll have weather similar to what the ladies will have at Westchester.
