Season 51 kicks off on Thursday. It started with a media event at Haneda Airport. Defending champ Sun Ju Ahn arrived in Okinawa. A news article says Ai Suzuki did winter training in Arizona and visited Ping's HQ...she'll be making her first visit to the ANA this year.

Doesn't Nasa qualify for the ANA. She is number 116 on the Priority List. Her name was on the JLPGA tournament list for March 1st. I would think that she would play as many LPGA tournaments as possible. To make sure she keep her card and get into the no cut tournaments.
Never mind....I was thinking April 1st for some reason.

Rounds 3 & 4 can be seen on Japan's nationwide TBS channel at these dates/times (Japan time): Round Three: Sat., 4:00 PM Round Four: Sun., 3:30 PM These links work for me now, don't know about later: mov3.co/tbs/aqstream.com/jp/tbs/TBSSBS Golf won't have it...I don't think JTBC Golf will have it, but their Sat/Sun sked hasn't been posted yet.

I was under the impression that Honma's BeZeal line was not for low handicappers, but its driver appears to be good enough for BML's bag this year. ********* Karis Davidson won't be difficult to find on this tour...a Japanese article says she was born in Scotland and move to Australia at age 9. Last paragraph: "Anything about golf, mental and golf, whatever you do with Twitter, I will ask Karrie", it is awfully fascinating to follow her mentor. "I must learn Japanese soon, and there are many things to do ... to make a bank account ... First of all I will do my best to get seeds!" Single, young Aussie girl who got into Japan. "Japan is a country of respect.Thank you for having interviewed me for the first time in Japan," the blue eyes were made to shine and my heart beat in the first day round.

The earliest tee times for Round 3 are at 11:30 AM...don't know if this is the reason. UPDATE: Saturday's golf is cancelled, so it'll be a three-rounder resuming Sunday at 8:20 AM.
