In case anyone cares, recent Stanford grad Casey Danielson(below) won the final stage of LET q-school in Morocco last month. She shot -14 during five rounds and won a three-way playoff. But, I'm not ready to declare her a world-beater, since she missed the cut during Stage One of LPGA q-school last August...if I'm not mistaken, that means she has no Symetra Tour status. At least she can be a regular on the LET...except that tour seems to be running on fumes at the moment. The 2018 sked has only four events posted, all in Australia from February 1 thru March 4. They're not including the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open (Feb. 15-18)...is it only for LPGA players?

LET...level 7. Phil...I'm surprised you didn't talk about the FAKE Indian Princess bombing out at Q school.

Bleh, I don't care about Sharmila. I wonder if the Shop-Rite/Acer will do that voting contest again for one exemption in 2018. Two of the four Aussie events that were "absorbed" by the LET each have a total purse of 150K AUD ... that equates to low-level Symetra money of about $118K USD. Laura Davies entered all four events...she'll never quit touring until she's too broken down to swing a club. I remember hearing the guy on the December LET Dubai broadcast say Kelsey MacDonald was looping during the summer at Loch Lomand. I looked up her Twitter account where she confirmed it, but said she did it to "support her golf" and "not to make ends meet." That's a bit double-talky to me...money is money. But, her play in Dubai was a good story...at the end of a bad year, she finished T-11 and saved her LET card for 2018...now she can fly around the world for Symetra money. I probably saw her in passing at the 2017 USWO where she bombed out...at least she got there by passing the qualifier in England. The USGA gave USWO exemptions to the top-5 players on the 2016 LET money list, but I don't see how they can justify that for the 2018 USWO. Maybe they should lower it to the top-3...just like they do with the China LPGA.
