It's easier reading it on Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_LPGA_of_Japan_TourAt first glance, it looks like a complete duplicate of 2017....38 tournaments in 39 weeks...12 events are four rounders. Prize money went up for only one tournament, Stanley Ladies (¥90 million to ¥100 million), but that allows the JLPGA to say that total tour prize money will be going up for the sixth season in a row. There might be one sponsorship change...Ricoh's name is not on the season-ending Tour Championship, but negotiations continue. Six events will be played at different golf courses compared to 2017. One of them is the Toto LPGA, which will be held at Seta GC (North)...earlier in 2018, Seta GC (West) will host the Century 21 tournament. In other news, the tour announced that a player winning a tournament will get a two-year exemption.

An interesting side note: The Japanese men's tour (JGTO) released its 2018 sked a few days ago...they lost one tournament and will go from 26 events in 2017 to 25 next year. Commish Isao Aoki admitted that spectator attendance and TV ratings dropped in 2017. However, the average event purse is going up a little to an average of ¥140.3 million in 2018, which is significantly higher than the average JLPGA event. The JGTO tournament that disappeared was the ¥100 million Honma TourWorld Cup...hmmm, it wouldn't surprise me if the JLPGA had Honma lined up as a future sponsor. Considering the popularity of BML and Sky, along with new winners Haruka Morita and Kana Nagai, the JLPGA looks like a natural fit for Honma...throw in the fact that two recent World Number Ones (SS Feng, SY Ryu) and Muni He(!) have Honma sticks to varying degrees and the JLPGA business case becomes stronger.

I guess Muni wants to be another Chinese POSER who plays the gold plated Honma's. When did Muni start playing Honma's?....I thought she was a TM gal.

Muni had a Honma driver (and not the most pleasant sounding driver) when I saw her Ridgewood and Rolling Green last year...can't remember if she had the same FWs. But, you're correct now...between last spring's NCAAs and Dubai in December, she switched to a T/M driver. The irons have always been T/M...had a version of the M2s last year, don't know if it's the same now.
