Can't find much information about the final round except pairings. Is the final round alternate shots or best ball. I can't find the format anywhere. Also are the points reset for the final round.

You can see why they switched the order of the rounds. The Koreans were absolutely dominant for the third straight year in singles. But now, with all previous scores wiped, it comes down to the four team matches. Literally one match could swing the entire thing. I like the KLPGA's chances, but the JLPGA definitely has a chance to win if they get off to a good start. Should be a fun final day! Go KLPGA! (The first match might be the most important. Lee is a great putter. Bae is going to want to avenge her 1 up loss to Suzuki in singles. Could be pivotal!).

Was she the one who agreed to change the format (foursome on the last day) ? Just asking. Anyway, consider the Kplayers lucky to have a tournament to play. Otherwise, Kowa would cancel the event.

I watched a little of this on SBS Golf...I'll wait to watch an entire replay on Youtube later. Based on the scores they flashed, I think KOWA finally stumbled upon a format they like and stick with it forever!!!!!! Lucky 6 rolled snake eyes today.

Anybody know why Jin Young dissolved into an inconsolable pile of tears in Sky's arms on the 18th? Her team was the only one to score a point so she shouldn't be that upset.
Maybe she's sad that this was her last KLPGA event. Hope she isn't having second thoughts.

Well, that wasn't a great end to the season, but it was still fun to see the Sisters play so well the first two days. It's a bit BS to change the format to give the Japanese a better chance at winning. They obviously simply cannot hang with the Koreans in singles, so they changed it to something you never ever see in team events, a last day of team competition.
Well, whatever. Congrats to Japan on their win, they still had to win the team matches and they did so convincingly. But I'm proud of the KLPGA for going into enemy territory and playing so well again this year (didn't they used to have this thing outside of Japan now and again in the old days? Who decided that only Japan gets to host and thus gets the home field advantage every year?). Yeah, the Sisters didn't bring it in the alternate shot format on the final day, but they were almost unstoppable on the first two days. Enjoy your well earned holiday time, ladies, and get ready for a mind blowing 2018 season! HWAITING!

Who decided that only Japan gets to host and thus gets the home field advantage every year? Using the terminology of Mike Whan, the "check writers" decided. Japan-based Kowa Company, Ltd. had $1.4 billion USD in revenues in its last fiscal year.

Congratulation to JLPGA. The KLPGA fell behind early and could never get ahead. However they fought to the end. Not making excuses for KLPGA, but that format should never be the final round.
We played it often in two man four day tournaments, but it was always the first round. It's a joke making it the final round.

LMAO Happyfan...now that fanofseri has quit this site...you are now the forum jester....it's SO FUNNY reading your whiny rants whenever the Koreans GAG/CHOKE and you defend the Koreans for all these so called 'perceived' disadvantages they face....LOL. Your new nickname is Jordan Spieth....he's a big CRY BABY too. The Korean won't spend money...heck they can't even throw Dumbo a bone to give her a front visor logo.....the Koreans know it....that's why the likes of SKY, Smile Candy, SEXY QUEEN, Ji Ya Shin, etc, etc would rather play the JLPGA cause the Koreans are too cheap to ante up for REAL purses on the KLPGA. Be appreciative that the Japanese are willing to fund this tier III FAKE exhibition.

I watched the GC coverage of the final two rounds. Bah. Horrible format. I don't recall there ever being a team competition where the scores were reset for the final round.
I have to believe Jin Young was in tears because it was her final KLPGA event.
