Why do you people go around calling everyone fake this and fake that? I assume it's all facetious but I don't even understand the point. We do in in honor of fanofseri who created it. But yes....it's so hurtful and insulting when 18majors, who has never met me, calls me a FAKE Chinese. IMHO, FAKE Korean means "Born from Korean parent(s)" + "Having black hair, yellow skin" + "Listed next to a NON-Korean flag on the leaderboard" (Lydia, Wie, DKang,...), whereas a REAL Korean is someone "Born from Korean parent(s)" + "Having black hair, yellow skin" + "Listed next to a KOREAN flag on the leaderboard" (ss players). I think the same thing happened with the phrase "Fake Chinese" meaning "Born from Chinese parent(s)" + "Having black hair, yellow skin" + "Listed as a NON-Chinese on the playcard?". Moreover, if you never heard 18majors' voice, how can you be sure of the insinuation. "You're a BAD BOY!" doesn't necessarily connote a derogatory meaning, in some case it can even be a compliment. That's the beauty of any language. Most nouns/adj have a spectrum of meanings going from bad to good, let alone if it also involves the speaker's tone, i.e."FAKE" can mean knockoff, counterfeit, fraudulent, artificial, not authentic, imitation, substitute, .... I really really enjoy devouring all the posts in this forum. Fun, humorous, helpful, educational, teachable, altruistic, sarcastic, red-shirted, tons of eye-candy golfers, or whatever..., nothing is missing from this site. I strongly believe this Forum will develop into 1 of the best ever Female Golf Forum with the precious contribution of HF, don, mr3putt, 18maj, philknj ,argonne, tonij5, legetimateG, SYfan, mnnlistG, cannlinny, verdantgarden, bravedave, lonballbogey, and all other posters whose names I can't remember/. Come a time when LPGA becomes more significant, people will flock to this site and we can say "Move aside GC." Hwaiting.

As of this moment, the LET website has 30 photos posted from a practice round and the introductory reception...with the LET and ALPG teams only. Well, that'll change drastically on Friday...it will be unavoidable. BTW, Sarah Jane Smith is now being called Sarah Jane Kenyon on the LET website...don't know why...did she get divorced or take her husband's name or revert to her single name? ********** www.maniareport.com/view.php?ud=201711271751309192faab63b3d5_19If the translation is correct, a management company has issued "#1" headcovers to the Korean team...I don't know why Lucky 6 is holding two different ones

I'm guessing Kenyon is her married name. Another pro that cannlinny won't like....but nothing compared to SMOKE SHOW.

Team ALPG Team LET Team Japan...I just realized that Fumiko Kawagishi (top row, 2nd from right) dropped out of Stage 3 LPGA q-school...she was T-18 in Stage 2. Team Korea... aigoo, no one was in charge of the team's uniform; I count six unique jackets.

A Japanese article says Char Young Kim is called "Field Fairy" in Korea. I never heard that before. This is her first visit to Japan since playing the 2012 Samantha Thavasa. Via the translated mush, I think she wanted to try JLPGA q-school, but changed her mind since it conflicted with the KLPGA schedule...she liked the tour environment in Japan more than in Korea in 2012.

Since there's no TV for Round One, here's the live scoreboard: www.mbs.jp/thequeens/score_global/********* It's quite early, but Korea leads three matches, Japan leads three matches, Oz leads one match, and the LET leads none. Kotone Hori (with flags in visor) is on the bench in Round One...JY Ko and Sky Kim

The KLPGA and JLPGA certainly brought it in round 1! Korea was perfect, with Japan only losing to Korea and tying one other match. So the totals: KLPGA 8 JLPGA 5 LET 2 ALPG 1 The matches: Ritsuko Ryu/Lala Anai 2 & 1 over Holly Clyburn/Florentyna Parker Yukari Nishiyama/Momoko Ueda 1 up over Sarah Jane Smith/Sarah Kemp Ji Hyun Oh/Jin Young Ko 4 & 3 over Karrie Webb/Hannah Green This would have been the match for me! Oh and Ko, go go go! Seon Woo Bae/Jeong Eun Lee 6 4 & 3 over Carly Booth/Olafia Kristinsdottir Another powerhouse team here Felicity Johnson/Lee-Anne Pace 2 & 1 over Stacy Peters/Cathryn Bristow Hae Rym Kim/Ji Hyun Kim 3 & 1 over Melissa Reid/Annabel Dimmock Ha Neul Kim/Ji Hyun Kim 2 1 up over Misuzu Narita/Mamiko Higa Katherine Kirk/Wendy Hillier HALVE Ai Suzuki/Fumika Kawagishi

Round 2 - singles KLPGA continues to soar in the singles; round 2 The Sisters won all but two matches on Saturday, and one of their losses came when Ha Neul Kim withdrew to hand the win to Melissa Reid (that's how I'm reading it; the scoreboard is unclear as to who withdrew, but based on the points, I'm guessing it was Sky). The other loss came when Ai Suzuki beat Seon Woo Bae 1 up. Scores: KLPGA: 24 JLPGA: 12 ALPG: 9 LET: 7 Fumika Kawagishi 6 & 4 over Lee-Anne Pace Hae Rym Kim 2up over Yukari Nishiyama Jeong Eun Lee 6 6 & 5 over Hannah Green Ritsuko Ryu 2 & 1 over Sarah Jane Smith Stacey Peters 2 & 1 over Annabel Dimmock Jin Young Ko 3 & 2 over Carly Booth Ji Hyun Oh 1 up over Lala Anai Whitney Hillier halve Kotone Hori Katherine Kirk 2 & 1 over Mamiko Higa Melissa Reid over Ha Neul Kim (WD)(it looks like Ha Neul withdrew, but the score is unclear) Ji Hyun Kim 5 & 4 over Gwladys Nocera Felicity Johnson 2 & 1 over Misuzu Narita Holly Clyburn 3 & 2 over Momoko Ueda Ji Hyun Kim 2 6 & 5 over Rachel Hetherington Char Young Kim 6 & 5 over Cathryn Bristow Sarah Kemp 2 & 1 over Olafia Kristinsdottir Florentyne Parker halve Karrie Webb Ai Suzuki 1 up over Seon Woo Bae

Sky won her match by default when Reid was a WD with a bad back. I assume Mel had the decency not to do any impromptu dancing during the singles. BTW, Round Two was posted on Youtube.
Round Three:
Championship Final (KLPGA V. JLPGA) Match 1 Seon-Woo Bae & Jeong-Eun Lee V. JLPGA’s Ai Suzuki and Momoko Ueda Match 2 Ji Hyun Kim 2 and Ha-Neul Kim V. Misuzu Narita and Mamiko Higa Match 3 Jin-Young Ko and Char-Young Kim V. Kotone Hori and Ritsuko Ryu Match 4 Ji-Hyun Oh and Ji-Hyun Kim V. Fumika Kawagishi and Yukari Nishiyama
Third Place Final (ALPG V. LET) Match 1 Stacey Peters and Katherine Kirk V. Gwladys Nocera and Carly Booth Match 2 Hannah Green and Whitney Hillier V. Annabel Dimmock and Olafia Kristinsdottir Match 3 Rachel Hetherington and Karrie Webb V. Florentyna Parker and Lee-Anne Pace Match 4 Sarah Jane Smith and Sarah Kemp V.
