www.alba.co.jp/tour/news/article/no=76323I have said for years that Mi Hyang Lee is totally awesome and she has delivered the goods on that assessment. Now we have an article posted last week (above) which reports on how she influenced one of her peers, Megumi Shimokawa. Via the mush of Google and Bing translations, here are her most important comments: "I was able to go around with the Hyang players in the practice round at the time of the Japan women's open, but when I saw the swing of the players fighting in the United States up close, I could see what I lacked.
I consulted with Aoyama Mitsuru coach immediately.
So, what exactly is better? "There is one that the axis does not shake, and there is really no waste, regardless of which part of the action you are swinging, every single positioning is in place." That's Shimukawa's "perfect swing" that I should aim for.***** Some background on Shimokawa...age 34...became JLPGA member at advanced age of 24...no pro wins in Japan at any level...best season was 2016 (22nd on money list, 72.3339 avg.)...has regressed in 2017 (47th on money list, 72.736 avg.). She plans to work on a new swing in January and February in order to be ready for the 2018 opener (Daikin Orchid) in March. ******** The article includes an MHL swing sequence gallery from the LPGA TOTO Japan: www.alba.co.jp/tour/news/photo_detail/no=76323/ph=0?tourid=91576&cat=1Samples:

Did Megumi also ask MHL for any mental tips to become a DRAMA QUEEN too?...ya know...golf is 80% mental...20% physical skill.
OK...OK....MHL has a nice swing...especially her follow through.
