So, overall attendance was higher, but the "Major" attendance was much lower...would have been nice to see a ticket price comparison by event. Perhaps Korean golf fans are quite discerning...they know that having five "majors" is a joke.
I'm impressed that they keep such detailed attendance records...ditto for the JLPLGA. You never hear or read about such stuff from the LPGA...it's almost as if spectator turnout is irrelevant to the future survival of any particular tournament.

www.olweb.tv/big_player.php?adresa=sbs-golf&server=1I just put this on live...they're all getting in and out of their parkas. They must have tournaments in Japan and Korea at this time of year at the insistence of the golf apparel companies to move their sweaters, down jackets, and down pants. Poor scoring...no one under par for the Saturday round so far. They started the day with some of kind of points score, creating an overall score...I don't understand or care. Ji Young Park just lipped out a putt from inches away...she is +8 thru 13 holes...her golf ball must feel like a brick. They're now interviewing Ji Hyun Kim and Ji Hyun Kim2...both have not made a birdie thru fourteen holes. Cyborg and Yoon Ji Cho

The LF Point tournament kind of works like the CME. The players earn points all year, and they come into the event ranked according to their points (they are given starting scores based on those points). From then on, they play two rounds of golf, and eventually one player (usually Seung Hyun Lee) gets the title. Coming in, the scores started as follows: 1. Jeong Eun Lee 6 -3 2. Ji Hyun Kim -2 - Ji Young Park -2 4 Ji Hyun Oh, Seon Woo Bae, Ji Hyun Kim 2 -1 7 Gyeol Park, So Young Lee, Hye Jin Choi, Yoon Ji Cho Even After round one: 1 Seon Woo Bae Even 2 Yoon Ji Cho, Hye Jin Choi +2 4 Ji Hyun Oh +3 5 Jeong Eun Lee 6 +4 6 Gyeol Park, So Young Lee, Ji Hyun Kim 2 +5 9 Ji Hyun Kim +6 10 Ji Young Park +7 Seon Woo Bae "I'm really cold! Round 2 Hye Jin Choi shot a 67 to take the Queen of Queens Title. I suspect we'll be seeing a lot more of that sort of thing in 2018! 1. Hye Jin Choi -3 74-67 2. Seon Woo Bae -2 73-70 3. Gyeol Park +1 77-68 4. Jeong Eun Lee 6 +3 79-71 5. So Young Lee +4 77-71 - Ji Hyun Kim 2 +4 78-71 - Ji Hyun Kim +4 80-70 8. Yoon Ji Cho +5 74-75 9. Ji Hyun Oh +6 76-75 10. Yup....a complete SHILL to move cold weather golf gear. It's not that cold there to warrant all the SKI WEAR...if it was that cold....... they couldn't play golf cause the course would be frozen and UNPLAYABLE. Balls would hit the greens and bounce 15-20 yards cause it would be like concrete. I was hitting balls at the range last winter with snow on the ground in -3*C weather....no way I dressed like that....the range was closed in the morning so they could hand pick the balls.
