Who knew you could put a golf course in Korea's Jurassic Park? Prehistoric Seon Hwa Lee opened with five straight birdies on the back nine and is -6 thru eight holes. But, I've had the broadcast on for at least 15 minutes and they haven't shown her.
UPDATE: Birdied #18, now -7 thru nine holes.
UPDATE: Birdied #2, now -8 thru eleven holes. No TV coverage at all...SBS Golf must think she is an old washout who will fold up like a $3 suitcase any minute now.

They showed Sun Hwa later in the broadcast.
Lots of players had bad finishes, after it rained. Jin Young and Jeong Eun6 made bogey on two of their last three holes. Su Yeon Jang made her second double on eighteen.

Boredom can be the only reason Cyborg is trailing by ten shots...someone tell her the LPGA q-school deadline is Monday at 5 PM EST. Friday...BTW, I saw her left-handed practice swing at Ridgewood last year...that's crazy good, too. Saturday

Jin Young don't have to worry about finishing top four on money list. Since Hae Rym decided to play the JLPGA, the rest of the year. She can still get into the Majors, if she decides not to accept the LPGA card.

Round 3 This one turned into an incredible three-way battle for the title between Han Sol Ji, Yoon Ji Cho and Ji Hyun Kim 2. Ji seized the final lead after hitting her tee shot on 17 to about a foot for a birdie. Kim was right in it until hitting her second shot on 18 from a fairway bunker into the water, while Cho lost her final (slim) chance by missing a four foot birdie putt on the last. Congrats to Han Sol Ji for her first career KLPGA win! Straight 66s across the board! Who does she think she is, Lucky Six? Also, she won her first event in 54 holes with no bogies all week. Hye Jin Choi finished at -2. She was 5th among the Lotte staffers! It looks like her two-week experiment with Titleist gear is over...back to Ping.

Really impressed at how well Han Sol performed going for her first win. Especially the clutch shot on seventeen to take a two stroke lead.

Really impressed at how well Han Sol performed going for her first win. Especially the clutch shot on seventeen to take a two stroke lead. It was very impressive. Kim and Cho are both multiple tour winners, and they put a ton of pressure on her. At one point late, Kim even took the lead. But in the end, it was Ji who came out on top, and without any bogies to boot. I've liked this golfer since her rookie year in 2015. She's talented, still pretty young, and has a great smile. It will be interesting to see if she can build on this next season and become a force out there.
