Why is Haru Nomura skipping this one? She's 28th in CME points, so she has no chance to cash the big paycheck. She's played 24 events with only two top 10's, although one was a win. She played in 5 events in the Asia swing. I have to assume that she's a bit burned out, and doesn't feel like traveling 25 hours to Florida, and then another 25 hours back to Japan.

Chella Choi, Drama Queen MHL, Masson, Megan Khang, Lizette, Wie, etc, etc have played 5 weeks in a row...Khang 6....didn't MHL play a KLPGA event the week of the Taiwan event....and I think all are gonna show up at the POSER year end event in Naples...just sayin. ECP would be in China this week...but Dave is levering his bets and making Brooke and Brittany prep 17 hours a day at Tiburon since landing in Florida to try to make $1.5M less the $5,000 he'll give to Brooke for winning the CME. Dave Henderson was adopted by Korean parents who owned the convenience store in Smith Falls....LOSING is not an option in a Korean household...nuff said. I'm sure Dave is wearing Brooke's Rolex too.

Jin Young won't play on the LPGA in 2018. She doesn't want the title of another FAILED KO on the LPGA

I would like to see her come to the LPGA so that I can watch her play more in person. But it's her decision that matters, not mine.

I think she will. When was the last time a KLPGA player bypassed the LPGA after winning an LPGA tournament? If she skips this opportunity, she'd have to go through the Q-school gymnastics to get a card. If she had any thought of playing on the LPGA, now if the time to do it.

Sun Ju Ahn bypassed a tour card when she won the Toto a few years ago. That was the JLPGA, but she also is a multiple winner on the KLPGA, so it sort of counts.

Both Ha Na Jang and Jin Young Ko are in the field as non-member winners; potential room for the first and second alternates.

There're 12 players with scoring average under 70.00 this year; a historical record by a long shot.
There are many reasons for the record; among them is an abundance of talented players.
