This is just a placeholder since they still haven't announced it yet! But, this is their usual timing...I bet they'll announce it this week (their calendar has a few items for the Senior and Jump tours). If the last two years are a guide, they'll probably re-launch the REAL tour with the Lotte Mart Women's Open during Masters week (Apr. 9-12) on Jeju Island.

They have announced the KLPGA's schedule for 2015. There are a few new events, and I'm not 100% how they will translate some of these titles (I could only find a Korean language copy of the schedule). But here is my best guess. The schedule has 29 official events, up from 27 in 2014.

Among the most notable additions is the BMW Ladies Championship, which at 1.2 billion won ties the Hanwha Classic as the most lucrative event on the schedule. Also, the Hite Cup has been moved to earlier in the schedule, now becoming the second rather than third Major of the year. The summer break has shrunk almost to nothing.

April 9 - 12: LotteMart Ladies Open (600 M won)
April 17 - 19: Sam Jully (??) Together Open (??)(700 M won)
April 24 - 26: Nexen Saint Nine Masters (500 m won)
May 1 - 3: KG Edaily Ladies Open (500 m won)

May 29 - 31: E1 Charity Open (600 m won)
June 5 - 7: Lotte Cantata Women's Open (500 m won)
June 12 - 14: S-OIL Champions Invitational (600 m won)
June 18 - 21: MAJOR: Kia Automotive Korean Women's Open (700 m won)
June 25 - 28: BC Card Korea Economic Open (700 m won)
July 3 - 5: Kumho Tire Women's Open (500 m won)
July 10 - 12: IlHwa ChoChung Seltzer Ladies Open (

Well done Happy fan you are pretty spot on.

The tour loses one event from last year the Nefs Masterpiece but gains four new tournaments.

My understanding the new events are called,

Samchully Together Ladies Open
BC Card - Korea Economic Ladies Open
Ilhwa Chojung Sparkling Ladies Open Presented by SBS
BMW Ladies Championship

Thanks for the correction on the team event and the other stuff. I saw that it was no longer called the Korea-Japan event, but I assumed it was just a new sponsor name for the old event, given it was at the same time as the team event had been. This sounds like an interesting idea; I wonder what the qualification criteria will be?

Also, I have seen Jeju translated as Cheju or Jeju, so I just went with the one l like better.

Bingo, gimmee a high five!

Wow, they used to have extended breaks into August. If I read this right, I see only three weeks off between April 9 and November 15. These girls are morphing into JLPGA Iron Byrons!

Only one event has no site determined as of now, the KLPGA Championship. They play two weeks in a row on Jeju Island in June...if you MC it won’t feel so bad.

Not that long ago, maybe two or three years ago, they would stop the first half of the season in late June and start up again in mid-August. This year, I can only see a couple of non-contiguous off weeks in August. Crazy how much this tour has grown!
