K-pop, hip hop and R&B veteran and Seattle native Jay Park recently gave a brief interview to CNN about his start in the music business as original front man for JYP Entertainment's group 2PM, his abrupt departure from that group and reemergence as a solo star and producer. He now owns two labels and recently signed onto Jay-Z's label as its first artist of Asian descent.
