In case anyone cares, it starts Thursday. The field of 78 includes defending champ Beth Allen, Aza, Smokeshow, Lee-Ann Pace, Xi Yu Lin, Georgia Hall, Joanna Klatten, Sarah Kemp and Crusty Grrr (Lacoste staffer). I have no info on TV coverage. White was the color for the Tuesday night party. Team Spain: Noemi Jimenez Martin, Maria Hernandez, Aza, and Maria Parra. Hernandez (ex-LPGA) is NOT in the field and hasn't played on the LET this year. I assume Smokeshow was a late arrival from NZ and couldn't make the party. Catherine Lacoste was presented with a cake in honor of winning the USWO fifty years ago.

Never heard of her but Noemi is pretty cute and should be a member of the Spanish Killer B's.
Lacoste's boiler is about to bust out of her shirt. I just wore my KNOCK-OFF Lacoste shirt on Monday to play golf.....$6 from Bangkok in 2002....I try not to wear it too much and it's still in great shape. I found the knock-off stuff in Bangkok much better than HK.

Slow news day when we start covering LET events! It's now the slow season....fall and winter. So do you think the LET will fold in the next few years? It think it's 50/50.

The horndog-in-chief tournament director Davide Lantos announced the suspension of Round Two...Smokeshow is overjoyed. Round Two will resume on Saturday at 8:45 AM...they still intend to complete four rounds, which shouldn't be too difficult with only 78 players. They'll also have a cut, which appears to the top-50 plus ties. I think Kerr and Aza are the only players jetting to Korea after this one.

I hope Aza tells Kerr to FO when Kerr asks if they want to book adjoining plane seats. They have a non-stop flight from Barcelona to Incheon...and luckily...Sky 72 is right next door.
The Koreans better show up and win the Hana to avoid an unpopular winner, like Carlota.

CORRECTION: I used the LET photo caption to identify the players above, which was wrong! The second player from the left is Ana Menendez of Mexico, who bombed out, 71-74 +5.
