They'll have a big qualifier on July 31 at St. Andrews (the Castle Course), which will include Creamer, Pressel, The Rocket, L. Beck, MJ Uribe, Davies, Stoelting, Ayaka Watanabe, Mozo, Buhai, JM Green, V. Hurst, C. Kim and others.
Numerous LPGA players have withdrawn...they won't be in the Scottish Open, so flying over for the WBO qualifier wasn't worth it to them, I guess. They include NYC, Dori Carter, SC Cheng, Karen Chung, Dana Finkelstein, Granada, Nasa, MS Kwak, Annie Park, Maddie Sheils, Sakura Yokomine and others.

Surprised The Rocket is trying to qualify....I guess she'll loop for J. Song if she doesn't play. I'm pretty sure we'll witness the Brit racism....likely crickets attendance. Has there even been a WBO that has been well attended? Yet, they broke attendance records this past week at Royal Birkdale with many fans out to watch in the rain and wind. The women's majors are all FAKE.

I don't know how many spots are up for grabs in the qualifier. Four early finishers have broken par:

In my mind Mi Hyang Lee is the reigning Women's British Open champion. The tournament she just won had pretty much all the makings of a "WBO" (Scotland, links course, tough conditions, tiny galleries etc) anyways.

This is a major and is also the last tournament before the Solheim Cup recess; most players will have 2 weeks off after this week.

I wouldn't say that. She does have four runner up finishes. She is the only one of the big name Koreans who hasn't had her big moment this season, but most of them have only managed the one win and haven't been as overall strong as In Gee the rest of the time (Inky has two wins but a lot of inconsistency as well). Her big moment(s) will come. I still have faith. Dumbo Hwaiting! Here are the top players in the Rolex rankings from Korea and their biggest successes in 2017. Note that most of them have managed wins, but Dumbo is still waiting for hers. MJ Hur is the other major Korean player to not get a win yet. So Yeon Ryu: two wins, one Major, many top tens Sung Hyun Park: one major ==> In Gee Chun: NO WINS Amy Yang: Win in Thailand Inbee Park: win in Singapore Sei Young Kim: win in Mexico Ha Na Jang: win in Australia ==> MJ Hur: NO WINS Mirim Lee: Win in LA IK Kim: 2 wins
