It is sad that the Korean LPGA players don't think enough of their country to play in this event. You would think at least (0 for Korea) Inbee Park would play. Please disregard my message if non KLPGA members are not allowed to play. That wouldn't suprise me that one of the most insular nations in the world would have that type of rule.

Britney Lang (LPGA player) is invited. There is no limitations on invites, just number of sponsor recommended players. As per the KLPGA tournament site. Kind of confused on the invite rule. Because I am sure their can't be more invites, than openings. |

Thanks SYF. I guess they want the US Open Champion. Hopefully Lang will win. It must not mean much to win, if the marquee players from the LPGA and JLPGA don't bother showing up.

Since So Yeon wasn't playing Meijer for some unknown reason. I thought that she may play, since she never won a Major on KLPGA. That I can remember and skip Arkansas. |

  Koreans are brutal people...they are making Bethany, our USWO champion, tee off at 7:14 AM on Thursday...I hope they let her sleep in on Tuesday. At least she'll be with two familiar faces, Shi Hyun Ahn and The Hulk. Other groups I'd watch: Hae Rim Kim, Minjee Park, Jeong Eun Lee 6 Sharon, Gyeol Park, Char Young Kim 2 Hye Youn Kim, Su Yeon Jang, Ji Hyun Oh It just occurred to me that M. Wie is a Kia player...has she ever been invited to the KWO while Kia has sponsored it? I doubt BJ would allow it. |

I'm really shocked Bethany is playing.....but I'm even more surprised Lang won a UWSO...mentally she's lost without Luke.
Bethany is not exactly the most sought after pro...so I can see that she would be honored to get an invite to play.
I can't say they'll sell 5,000 more tickets because a white faced blonde is teeing it up.

You honestly believe Kia would shell out $100k US for Bethany?....I'm thinking $30,000 tops + expenses....still not bad coin though. I think most Koreans would not care much for Lang. Maybe Luke got a tip from longballbogey on some really good K-bars to hook up with some young Korean hotties....and Brittany being a good sister, obliged. |

The appearance fee would have been better served greasing Dumbo and/or Namdalla for the Flying Dumbo's or Attack Girls fans. I hope to meet up with the Attack Girls soon...they look like a fun group to chat with. |

Bethany is Even after three holes. Sharon is +1 after three holes. For me, the TV coverage is 9 PM thru 5 AM...no way I'm doing eight straight hours! I'll watch the first two or three and that's it.
