1) What I said was, I dislike the notion of allowing underage players to join the tour at the whim of the commissioner. What happens is that players like Creamer and Pressel get thumbs up, while Ya Ni and Inbee got thumbs down. And there is no framework to understand why, because it is purely arbitrary. Except, gee, it seems like Americans get approved far more often.
2) As for Chella Choi "cheating", what I object to is that one instance of her breaking the rules does not mean she did it habitually. I say the same thing about Thompson, by the way. I'm all for her being punished for it. And I'm still not convinced she gained anything by what she did anyway. So no, I will not call her that offensive nickname. 1) Come on Happy....you know it's YANK RACISM. Hmmmm....blonde hair white skin given preference over black hair yellow skin....until they give BJ the Commish job we'll just have to live with all the injustices served up by the Mericans. 2) Let's all be honest...Chella and Lexi cheated...they saw some spike mark or imperfection and marked their ball away from it. They are PROFESSIONAL golfers playing for millions of dollars...and they can't mark their ball properly...give me a break. There are a ton of stories on the PGA tour of guys loosely marking their ball. e.g.) "Mark it Nearer" O'Meara......LMAO. |

I was only trying to defend the right of any player that earned a spot on the LPGA tour. Should not lose that spot to some retired LPGA player. As 3putt likes to say "any player can catch lighting in a bottle". That opportunity should not be taken away from them. Look at whose leading the present tournament. She may not stay there, but she is probably assured to make a decent check. So you can't assume that the players at the bottom wont improve. Using your "logic," why don't we open up the tournaments to the top 200 golfers? Or 300? Or 500? You just never know when a golfer might catch lightning in a bottle. "I was only trying to defend the right of any player that earned a spot on the LPGA tour." And they only earned their spot by what the rule book states. And the rule book can be changed. Easily. So, if the governing bodies state the tournaments will now only have 100 golfers, then anyone below that will not have "earned" a spot. |

It was an open and shut case. The ball has to go exactly where it was. Happyfan thought In Bee Park had a RIGHT to play on the big tour when she was underage. "I never said that. Please do find the place where I did???" I remember the headline. "In Bee Park denied the right to play on the LPGA." Look it up on the old boards. You certainly did say it, because one or two posters told you to move to North Korea to find out what "rights" really were. |

If I did use that quoted title (I doubt it), it's pretty clear what I meant was that she was denied the ABILITY to play on the tour, not that she had some sort of inalienable right to play there. But if you doubt that, let me reiterate that NOBODY has a "right" to play on any tour, as should be blatantly obvious. |

Anyway while you Muni Maniacs hack it around your low rent facilities, I thought I'd let you all know that I'll be playing Widlfire in Scottsdale, Arizona tomorrow. That's right the same course the LPGA plays every year. I know, I know, don't be jealous it's a different grass this time of year. However the GolfNow reviews are still fantastic. It's world class. I saw the LPGA there in 2014 'the year of the Wie' and to play it, feeling blessed. Playing half of it. Playing the Faldo which is the back nine at the Founders Cup. The Palmer is the front nine. And the green fee with range balls?!? $18.50! Oh yeah. LPGA golf at Muni prices. Danielle Kang with Lydia Ko
 Last year in California at the U.S. Open. Practice round. I was very lucky to run into these two. Newly crowned 2017 PGA tour 'coach of the year' David Leadbetter was there too working exclusively with Danielle Kang. The 2016 U.S. Open was the seven greatest days of my life. I should be in New Jersey right now. |

I played the Legacy Golf Resort yesterday.
It was really hot, so if you are not used to playing in the desert.
Make sure there is plenty of water or Gatorade.
Oh, by the way I played in the afternoon.
