Oh boy, it's going to be a wet Pro Am today. The grounds crew is going to have their hands full this week. Whoops, absolutely zero rain. In fact, the morning forecast stated that their was zero per cent chance of rain. And it was correct. When it comes to the weather, I love being wrong. It seems that the front passed just north of the south suburbs. Saturday and Sunday are looking much better. Fingers crossed.

I've been enjoying the So Yeon lovefest in the media the past few days. I swear, she has gotten more attention since rising to #1 than in all the rest of her career combined. The tough part is going to be staying at #1. Her biggest assets are a tendency to play well in tough events like Majors, and almost superhuman consistency the rest of the time. Best of luck to her this week in bringing her A Game and keeping the wolves at bay. Would love to see her make this a long stay at the top. But whatever happens in Chicago, I hope she can do herself proud. Hwaiting! They showed the cumulative strokes vs par in all majors since 2016 and So Yeon and Aryia were about 16 shots ahead of the nearest competitor.

Who do you think will win this? I've been going back and forth on several players. I'm even thinking Shanshan may finally get going. Inbee? So many possibilities!

Seeing Michelle Wie 100 feet away from the amateurs, working with her coach, makes me want to puke. There is time to practice before and after the pro-am. I guess she's special, though.
She isn't Korean, but Shanshan Feng is always great around the public, too.
Lydia Ko seemed to be enjoying the pro-am. One shot of hers went deep into the woods, but somehow ended up in the middle of the fairway. It's better to be lucky than good, but it's even better to be lucky and good.
Tiger's niece, Cheyenne, seemed to be a genuinely nice person. So did David Leadbetter. Ryne Sandberg is about 50 pounds over his playing weight.
No one should be surprised with the Asian Giraffe's behavior....stuck up....I just don't get why so many drool over her...she's such a b***h. I'm not saying she's rude or isn't good with the fans...but I was expecting more from the tour clown, Jenny Money, when I've seen her a few times...maybe I have HIGH expectations from my fellow country men/women...lol. Ya...supposedly Deadbetter is very approachable....I've never seen nor met him...but he's likely nice cause he's shilling his A Swing crap.

Tony...thx for the pics....amazing quality for a point & shoot....are those your pics or Cindy's photography? The LOVELY HYP either takes a great pic...or some horrendous pics....the 2 pics of The Rocket fall into the latter category....but I still LUV...The HOTTEST WOMAN ON THE PLANET. Tony...can you find out who HYP's loop is...she recently had a Korean on the bag....she goes through more caddies than Ko....apart for the time Kylie was on her bag...maybe she needs to get a women's perspective of the bag. Does Dumbo ever take a bad pic?.....NO. She has the FACE OF AN ANGEL and a BILLION DOLLAR SMILE....LUV Dumbo!!!!!!!

Tony I believe you are sitting in at all the press conferences this week. Why do you seldom ask questions? The presser's are monopolized by Steve E, Randell, Beth Ann and Ron Sirak.

Excerpt from So Yeon's pre-tournament comments: Is it so much to ask that we occasionally see penal rough and narrow fairways? It is a Major, after all. There better not be any 235 yard par fours!! I was gonna post about this...but kept on forgetting. Love how SYR stuck it to The PGA of Merica and the members of Olympia Fields that their course has been set up as a goat track without any rough...NICE SLAM....SYR....KUDOS...LUV it. There better not be some JOKER short driveable par 4 without any stress on the approach to the green...Sahalee didn't have a GONG SHOW hole.

19 players under par and 29 over pars; the major course hasn't disappointed yet.

One more reason the PGA has surpassed the US Open.

Yeah, definitely playing tough at the moment. In Gee and Minjee are +2. Jenny at +4.
