Jennifer Song with a very nice -6 round. What's gotten into her lately?

One of the interesting things about the perpetual WRX thread about LPGA distances is that the women, relative to the men, probably play longer courses. Which necessiates an easier setup. This really favors certain players on the LPGA. If they played the equivalent courses in distance to the men and set them up more difficult we might see a few different players in the top ten. (You're out, Lexi!)
Also, before any 4 handicaps over there decide they are as good as LPGA players they would have to lose 100 lbs and 6 inches of height and see what they shoot after that. Or put it this way, if you can't get paid to play as a man then you definitely wouldn't be making a living as a women, just because much few women do, for all kinds of reasons.
The raw data itself is neat to look at though. The bottom line is they need shotlink someday. It would be fun to see.

Sei Young went the all or nothing route. Four birdies, three double bogeys two triple bogey. The topper were after making birdie on seventeen, she made eight on eighteen.

Chris Mayson is working wonders for I.K. Kim. Yani, not so much.

So Yeon need to stop thinking about becoming number one. She really need to start playing golf like she is capable of.

Surprising to be looking at 2 missed cuts in a row.

She picked a bad event to try to get to #1; she has never had a good result @ ShopRite and missed one of her few cuts at this event. Hopefully she won't miss another tomorrow! Go So Yeon!

If I recall, Anna has a great record of finishing after leading the penultimate round. The other players better get a move on tomorrow.
Moriya doing well in the absence of her sister.
Lee Jeong Eun ready to do better this season than she has in her first two full seasons on tour. She's less than $30k from matching her career earnings and a top ten here will make it two on the season matching her total before this season started.
Million-dollar question: How will Inky do these next two rounds?

Even though In Kyung doesn't play a lot of tournaments. The ones that she played in last year she played well in them. She were ahead of a few established players, on the money list last year.
I didn't remember that So Yeon have had bad rounds on this course. I really hope that's all it is.
We will be vacationing in Michigan starting next week. So I am looking forward to seeing her at the Meijer Classic. She more than likely will play in it and skip the next one. Because it comes before a Major.
Other than that I probably won't get to see much golf, especially the KLPGA.

Evidently McCormick is spending all his time with bellyacher Spieth. It is all for the best. It would be humiliating for SYR to take over No. 1 without Ko in the field.
Hopefully, after Spieth misses the cut at Erin Hills, McCormick can spend a few minutes with her and fine tune So Yeon's game in time for the tournament at Olympia Fields. That's where you want to prove you are the best player in the world.

I would think that So Yeon has earned the right to be paired with better players. You mean Concolino and Kirk are not "better" players? Now I have a quiz for you. Here are the last five players teeing off at the 10th tee of the Seaview Bay Course for the Wed. & Thu. pro-ams: Wed.Harigae 1:40 Stoelting 1:50 Suwannapura 2:00 Clanton 2:10 Coleman 2:20 Thu.Perry 1:40 Law 1:50 Shon 2:00 Chung 2:10 Ryu 2:20 Question: Which one doesn't belong? You're only allowed one guess! Yup, the #3 player in the world was sent out with the driftwood at the end of the day. As a veteran observer of the Shop-Rite pro-ams, this is unbelievable. I think Tina has friends at LPGA HQ...she'll never forgive Ryu for that "True Number One" crack from two years ago.
