I've tried a Volvik before. I didn't think it was better or worse than anything else. I recently played with some Wilson Staff, British balls, I got in 1979. I used a Toney Penna driver, my Spalding Elite irons and a Ray Cook Mallet. My score was a couple strokes higher for the first six holes at the Muni. Equipment is overrated when you're no good to start with.
In spite of In Gee's poor play this is shaping up to be one of the best weekends in awhile. There will be a mix of no names and once was at the top of the leaderboard. I love when Old Joe gently places his big hands around the leader's neck and applies more and more force, until the player succumbs or kicks him in the groin.
Karma rules baby. Hmmmmm...so I'm guessing argonne69 caught up with Dumbo on the back 9 and told In Gee that the O'Hare cleaning staff found a hand crafted Dumbo head cover in garbage. Stressed over the embarrassment, In Gee, The Angel..........came home with a SMOOTH 38 and is now likely to trunk slam....just sayin
The REAL Koreans are EMBARRASSING themselves......they are all gagging it. Koreans are very DEMANDING people...I'm sure the Execs at Lotte, LG, Mirae Assests, Hanwha, etc are very displeased ...and all the Execs will request that their sponsored pros return to Seoul for retraining at The Good Doctor's robot factory and play on the KLPGA for a minimum of 1 years until they prove they belong in the Big Leagues, the LPGA tour.
During this time ......expect the Thai's to dominate, lead by Porna.....nuff said.

When was the last time Chun and Ryu missed a cut?? Probably never happened in same tourney before. Volvik will be delighted to see the big names missing the weekend...
