Lydia won't play the next 3 weeks. I hope In Gee continue to play when she has a hot hand.

Talent pool, course length. yeah yeah yeah They are all still pioneers on a fools errand trying to get paid as a sportswoman. The fans of the men bitch all the time about the women daring to compare themselves to the men. The women aren't doing that. It is the guy fans who are constantly trying to use that as a bludgeon to diminish what the women accomplish. The women have enough to worry about getting by day to day, they don't have the luxury to bludgeon anyone. Meanwhile, the baby-men PGA players get money literally thrown at them. They are given every consideration, play on every course no matter how exclusive, gets tons of sponsorships even if they are boring and ugly, are featured all the time in golf magazines and on late night TV shows and network TV. You will not see them having to struggle to justify their existence or deal with the intense dismissal the women face all the time. Harder courses. Bah! Harder courses with immaculate conditions, not the goat tracks the women have to play a lot of the time. Let's see how these PGA prima donnas would survive if they got paid 1/10 of what they now get, have to deal with negative crap like the women constantly face, and had to deal with the playing conditions and general lack of infrastructure the women face.

Congrats to fashion disaster icon Lexi for wearing head to toe blue since 2010 on Sunday and bouncing back from disgrace.
She's very good for the LPGA and OK, generally, I guess.

HappyFanLPGA is in a good position now; top players like Lexi, In Gee and So Yeon are fan friendly and charismatic. The revival of American golfers like Michelle Wie, Danielle Kang and Cristie Kerr and the arrival of Korda sisters help. We need top players to battle it out at KPMG, USWO and Women's British Open.

Such a long, long struggle she had to overcome the ANA. So many... weeks... OK, maybe not really so long. Char Young Kim just won her first KLPGA event in five years, and did it by beating Inbee Park. THAT'S a comeback from adversity.

Lexi will pass Michelle Wie and become LPGA's top drawing card in less than a year. The ANA fiasco is the best thing that's ever happened to her. The Instagram leaderboard will validate that.

Well, not too surprising that Thompson managed to take this one. She seems to play really well when she gets on a course she likes, and rarely gives away leads in those cases. Congratulations to her. In Gee Chun had a strange week. She played as well as you could ask her to play today, a 67, no bogies, but still left a lot out on the course, which was kind of her pattern this week. Again today, she missed a short birdie after hitting the flag stick, then missed a few more on the back nine. And when she had a great chance to reach the green on 15, she got a terrible break, putting her ball into a really tough place just short of the green, then just missed the short birdie as well. It didn't help that Thompson made a few bombs, including a ridiculous one on 12 that probably should have gone ten feet by but hit the hole and dropped in. When it's your week, it's your week. Still, I can't complain. Second place for In Gee with maybe her B+ game against a player playing a course that really suited her. I think just a few more tweaks and she'll be ready for the Majors this year. The Golf Channel tried to make it rougher. It was hard enough hearing all the endless Thompson love, but when they invited Kerr into the booth I almost lost it. Come on, guys, have some mercy!!! (You get the feeling that they thought fans would be thrilled by that... ) Meanwhile, So Yeon Ryu managed to get yet another top ten, but she needed Minjee Lee to have a horrific final hole to do it. Alas, Ko rallied on the final few holes and tied her, so it looks like she'll hold on to #1 another week. But So Yeon is closing in! Sung Hyun had a disappointing finish with a 75. Maybe it's more than the caddie? Well, she just needs to work on sharpening herself, because the Majors are coming and she wants to be at her best when they do. She wins one or two of those and we'll be having a very different opinion about her after that! Nice that Danielle Kang is making noise to earn Solheim consideration. Sei Young did not have a great day, but another top five, so not bad all in all. Sisters Hwaiting!!!!

They also mentioned Dr. Won Park was at the tournament this week; In Gee's time to drive for the majors.

If Lexi dressed like an adult she'd be much better off. Agree she is close to passing Wie as the main draw but only because of the ANA.

Nelly Korda seems to struggle more than usual during her final round of most events; wonder whether her stamina is an issue.

Again So Yeon top ten streak is still alive. I guess that's something to hang her hat on.
I just saw Happyfan statement that Minjee had a bad eighteen hole, which gave So Yeon a top ten. The last time that I looked, I didn't think she had a chance.
Congratulation to Lexi for a great win. In Gee had a great tournament as well.
