LPGA.COM hasn't posted a prelim field yet, but you can find it on the tournament website...138 names...they'll add two sponsor invites, two Monday qualifiers, and two "HOF/tournament winners" (whatever that means). Both Miyazatos are not on the list.

NASA probably made 700 feet of putts or something in the Japan Open and you'll spend the next 4 years wondering what happened to her game.

Yeah, I don't want to knock her or anything, but other than the Japan Open win, did she do anything else of note? That was an amazing week to be sure, but she could just as easily be Hilary Lunke as the next Se Ri Pak for all we know. Of course, she is still young, so she might have greatness in her, but it's quite possible that it won't surface for years if ever.

Keith Pelley was hired as European Tour Commissioner in April 2015 and what a job he's done in two years.
When he joined; there was only one regular tournament with purse of more than $2.5 million, the BMW PGA Championship at $5.5 million. In addition, there were three Race to Dubai final tournaments with purses of $7.0 million or higher.
This year, there are five regular tournaments with purses of $7.0 million. There are still three Race to Dubai final tournaments with purses of $7.0 million or higher.
Michael Whan; you haven't earned your keep yet.

The final Monday qualifier list has 49 names, including Wake Forest dropout Mathilda Cappeliez, who is still competing as an amateur. It's mostly The Usual Suspects for the rest of the field. They'll be playing the tournament course.

Starting at Kingsmill, LPGA will play twelve consecqutive weeks including Women's PGA, USWO and Women's British Open. This is clearly the meat of the season.
Most of the seasonal awards will be 90% decided when LPGA takes the Solheim Cup break.

They'll be playing the tournament course. The qualification was supposed to have 78 players; but they couldn't fill the roster. For some reasons, this tournament isn't the most sought after. Probably because there will be 12 consecutive weeks of golf. The pairings for Monday is out, qs.lpga.com/reports/?tourn=0006&report=https://preq.lpga.com/tic/tmdraw.cgi?tourn=0006~season=2017~round=1~.
