This tournament must be more prestigious than the KFC, based on my comparison of the two chains. The chicken wings are really good. I don't understand why there aren't more fat Koreans.

I think our local Kyochon closed. They were pretty good, if not the best K-FC in town. I liked it enough to tune into this tournament though.

According to my quick search, there are two Kyochon chicken restaurants in America: one in Manhattan and one in LA. Are you from outside the US? Or was there a third one that also closed?

I don't believe there was a Koreatown when I lived in New York. It was the Summer of Sam. My gf was a piece of work.
Berkowitz should have shot me and put me out of my misery. There definitely weren't any Korean chicken joints.

I don't believe there was a Koreatown when I lived in New York. It was the Summer of Sam. Per Wikipedia, you are correct. Korean businesses didn't pop up there until the 1980s: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koreatown,_Manhattan I remember walking through K-Town maybe 8-9 years ago. There was some kind of market or store on 32nd St. When you went downstairs, they had a room full of VHS/DVD copies of K-dramas...in a nearby closet were at least a dozen VCRs taping K-Dramas off the satellite. It seems so laughably anachronistic and unnecessary now. *********** I haven't paid close attention to tonight's action...with JY Ko & MSK5 in Japan, the outcome is far from certain. Saw Da Ye Na, who is pushing 30 and is in really good shape...finished at -2. She has a win in Japan, so it's not crazy that she could steal this one from the youngsters. Na is one of four Noble Land staffers in the field. Is there a stranger endorsement in golf? I'll have to think about that.
