I watched the coverage again last night. A few comments. They showed In Gee putting on 4, and I don't think they showed her again until the 15th hole, despite the fact she was on the first page of the leaderboard the whole time. They showed Sharp on every hole in that span. WTF? Jang really did play sloppy from hole 6 on, but the big problem seemed to be that her KLPGA caddie was playing by KLPGA rules. Apparently, the KLPGA is much stricter about slow play rules, so she was hustling when she got put on the clock, while Kerr knew she would never get penalized and so took it easy. Also, there were several instances where Jang decided not to take lift, clean and place, especially around the green. Had she SLOWED DOWN and done the lift clean, she might have come out all right. That might also have been caused by the slow play stress, or it might have been cluelessness on her and her caddie's part. Wasn't Sharp in one of the featured groups? Again, they only have 2 on-course cameras, so the majority of the action is focused on those groups. Unless of course the player is a) out of contention, or b) Michelle or Paula.

Args, Have you gone back to watch all the instances of Lexi marking her ball on TV? You're my man on this. I think 2-3 years worth of footage would cover it.

Wasn't Alana Sharp and In Gee in the same group. I guess that one camera were allowed to only focus on one person. The majority of the time.

The majority of the time. Yup SYRfan 1 Arg 0 This is the dialogue coming from the director in the production truck when Dumbo or Jang are on coverage. "Huh...what is this?.....there are too many black hair yellow skin gals being featured.....camera #1....pan over to that blonde hair Canadian gal....is that Brooke?....no....OK.....camera 2....go find out where the Entitled Canadian Princess is and get some shots from her....after that .....go cart over to hole #17 and let's watch Creamer putt out" Come on people...you're over analyzing everything...two words explains it all: YANK RACISM.

They had Cockerill and a dedicated camera following that group, and showed the #4 player in the world about 6 times in four hours (mostly on three foot putts). Meanwhile, her far less accomplished playing partner was shown constantly, almost every shot. I can't imagine something like that happening on the PGA tour with the #4 player and a journeyman.

Wait, isn't the girl whom I am going to marry, and who gets the most coverage no matter what is also "black hair yellow skin" ? But I guess " favoritism" does not have the same ring as " RACISM" .

Wait, isn't the girl whom I am going to marry, Asian giraffe. How are you going to feel when BJ books the adjoining hotel on your wedding night and has you on the clock after 2 minutes without a warning.

"Yim confirmed that Matthews was told that Ko would be changing caddies after the ANA Inspiration, but that he was offered the chance to work one last event in Hawaii because Matthews already had his plane ticket purchases." ********************************************************* This clearly demonstrates that Tina, Gil, Sura and especially IMG (assuming Michael Yim knew of the impending termination) have ZERO business acumen...Lydia is young at 19...so I'm not expecting much business experience from her....but....they ALL have been through and experienced other caddie terminations. If you fire someone...FIRE them...they're gone....end of story...and be prepared to offer severance if need be. Team Ko.....bite the bullet on the $900 airfare....it's what we call the "cost of doing business" If Matthews was paying his own expenses while looping for the #1 female golfer...then he's a fool. It was obvious early on .....watching on TV..... there was no chemistry between Lydia and Matthews....he should have been canned after the Asia swing....if not earlier. Lexi hired a new older guy this year...it too was obvious there was no chemistry and he is no longer on her bag. The title of the article demonstrates that Tina & Gil are taking heat from implied micromanaging parenting.

I will take Asian giraffe over Asian silicone any day . Considering your love affair for your two chosen future wives...the Asian giraffe and Stacy....except for your current wife....you really have poor taste in women. If you're going to give any luvin to any LPGA pro....the LOVELY HYP, Belen & GIMMEE should be on everyone's radar...just saying.

Somebody up north must have paid big bucks for the coverage of the "alternative" Canadian princess.

To tell you the truth, I got in late on Saturday night from my Mesquite trip ( Trip Report). I fast forwarded through most of the tournament on Sunday morning while half asleep. With Crusty in the lead, and her gawd awful slow routine, I couldn't watch it. I might have missed a few minor details. Lol. I'll make it up next tournament, I promise.

This article puts a different light on the topic. It says Gary M. was deadman-walking BEFORE the tournament...so when he says the communication between him and Lydia was better than ever in Hawaii, well, why was that? Maybe he decided he had to do a better job...and do it well enough so that Lydia might change her mind. Obviously, it didn't work, although it would have been funny if she won and he still got canned (Peanut did that to Larry the Looper in 1999, I think).
