Wow, now that's an interesting development. I wonder what happens to Gloria Park, who is the coach for the Chinese ladies team?

Yeah, the absence of Shanshan, Xiyu, Simin etc is really going to hurt the ticket sales and TV ratings.
At the end who really got screwed? These low ranked Chinese who needs every event they can get into to keep their cards.

Sounds like nothing according to Shanshan.
Love that Mell teaches the controversy in his article though.
But let's get to the good stuff. Who sits with who at the lunch tables.

I doubt it will become a major international incident, but I imagine it's a pain for the Chinese golfers, in that their government is much more involved in their lives than the golfers from other nations are involved with their governments. No matter which choice Shanshan makes, skip or attend, it's a political statement and has ramifications.
Meanwhile, the KLPGA has three events in China every year. Is it possible this could impact those events? What might happen if the collective Koreans decide to skip the Chinese events on the LPGA this year? (I doubt anything like that will happen, of course). Stay tuned, I guess!

Who sits with who at the lunch tables.Yup Mell should concentrate on above...Randell continues to reach for something that's not there....he needs to focus on the FACT's...he could take some guidance from The Smiling Buddha. Golf is such a non factor in China....I doubt anyone cares what the Chinese ladies do...I guess we'll find out soon enough if all the Chinese LPGA pros join TingTing on the JLPGA in May. The REAL noise will be if the GREAT Chinese boycott the Winter Olympics in 2018 in S. Korea...all the Chinese athletes will be sent home to the countryside to work in the rice fields and contribute something to society.

I am willing to bet this is real. That's the typical way the China government does things. The players will never tell the truth, they know better. Shanshan is planning to open a golf academy under her name in China. If she play in Hawaii, her academy will never see the daylight.
