Terrific webcam...the on-course cameraman just showed the second shots from behind for Sky Kim, Kaori Ohe, and Ayaka Watanabe at the par-5 3rd hole. JY Shin has the early lead by one stroke...Ayaka Watanabe trails by two shots.

The webcam is working great. They just showed the Sky Kim/Watanabe/Ohe putt out the 3rd hole...now showing the next group at #3. I assume they plan to catch up with Ha Neul Kim's group later as Watanabe is in the lead. Good start by Min Young Lee (71-70)...bad start for Yumiko Yoshida (+6 overall thru three holes)

I like that the JLPGA rarely builds grandstands...IMO...a waste of time....but many of the courses also have an amphitheater style 18th hole.

I left the webcam running overnight...and they were still playing when I woke up. Water was collecting on the 18th fairway. Does water cause lip-out putts? I saw a lot of those. Apparently I missed Big Mama Ahn destroy the joint. I think top-60 is the cut (+6). Min Young Lee is a newbie on tour. A multiple winner on the KLPGA, you may recall she recovered from a cancer scare that kept her out of action for several months about two years ago. Best of luck to her on Sunday!

The webcam has shown the early starters...mostly unknowns to me, but a few have pretty driver swings...maybe they don't go too far, but they're nice to look at. Serena Aoki and Hikari Fujita
