Do you guys expect Lydia to make the cut here? I predict an outside the top 10...she's gag choking...even though Tina made her putt for 36 hours this weekend.

18majors.. Your bet with 3putt for ROY don't look very good right now. Sung Hyun has an advantage in the Majors at least the ANA. Which Nelly is not playing. Points in Major First 300 Second 160 Third 150 Forth 140 Fifth 130.
Checked the ANA field list again. I made a mistake Nelly is listed in the ANA field. I thought she needed a high finish to get in.

Congrats to Lucy Li. That makes 1 player in the field this week lucid enough to comment on the US Open venue.

You're right; I couldn't figure how she would have qualified. Wouldn't Nelly qualify under catagory 11? 11. Top-20 Players plus ties on the current year LPGA Official Money List at the end of the last official tournament prior to the current ANA Inspiration, not otherwise qualified above, provided such players are within the Top-80 positions on the current year LPGA Official Money List at the beginning of the tournament competition. She is #32 on the money list and there is no way that there are 20 players ahead of her that aren't already in. Am I reading that wrong? It appears she is in easily. Thanks, you're right; this is the best news. I read it incorrectly. I thought she needs to be top 20 in 2017 official money; but she only needs to be in top 80.

The "top 80" part of the rule seems a bit odd, no? You have a player that is #81 going into the Kia, and they lost in a playoff and finish second. The winnings move them up the rankings, but they aren't eligible because they started the tournament outside the top 80. Why wouldn't you want a hot play in the field? What if that player was injured at the start of the season, and thus ranked lower than 80?

The hot player who lost a playoff and finished second at Kia would've certainly qualified to play ANA.

Every week the competition gets better and better. I think Lydia may not win this year...maybe one event at most...she's demonstrated nothing for months including the latter part of 2016. If she starts putting like Winbee...then that's a different story. IMO...she needs to concentrate on 3 things to improve change: Putting Closer proximity to the hole with short irons More aggressive approaches....I think her lack of confidence nowadays makes her play more conservative.
