SoYeonFan How was the crowd today; was it better than yesterday? Overall the crowds looked better. However people following Jessica and In Gee was about eight Dumbo fans and maybe eight to ten for Jessica. Jessica's mom joined her on the back nine. Poor So Yeon didn't seem to have hardly anyone following her early. Those galleries are YUGE.

Poor So Yeon didn't seem to have hardly anyone following her early. Didn't see too much of them later, because In Gee group got behind. The Marshall talked to them about something. I asked him if they were on the clock and he said no. We can only hope it will get better in the future. And meanwhile in the same city.....605,000+ fans attended the Waste Management Phoenix Open. They need to cancel all Merican events...it's EMBARRASSING....Yanks don't care about women's golf. They had more fans watching the minor league, JLPGA event, for those that watched the stream this weekend. The BoD's all need to be fired and with the new BoD...hire BJ Wie as commish and move the LPGA HQ to Seoul or Tokyo if they are serious about growing the LPGA...... nuff said.

Tough finish on the greens by So Yeon. Missing a short birdie putt on thirteen started her downward trend. It's not like she don't try to improve. She putted for about forty minutes after her round yesterday. Her three putt on seventeen were out of frustration. It is what it is, a top five is not too bad. After her start so far back, to me a top five would seem a great tournament for her. The nerves continue to get to SYR when she's challenging for the win on the back 9. I know he's so busy....but SYR has to get McCormick to influence Spieth to see if he can spend an afternoon to play golf with SYR and chat with her how he handles his nerves late on Sunday.

What I hated were after she missed the short birdie putt on thirteen and three putted fourteen. Lewis ran over to chat with her, knowing Lewis was glad to see her miss. I felt like yelling at Lewis to get away from her. Classic gamesmanship by Lewis.......yup...playing with Lewis was SYR's demise. As I said before...you should have heckled Lewis with a few KIMCHI....MASHED POTATOES....LIGHT THE CANDLE...that would have rattled Lewis and she would have got your message to back off. Ya gotta give it to SYR...after she bogey'd...some young girl said something to her and SYR acknowledged her and smiled....after the 3 late bogey's...I'm surprised SYR didn't tomahawk her putter across the green.

Kudos to the other top five finisher. Except LewisOne good thing is that Lewis didn't win. Her fans are worse than she is. Just a couple of comments talking about So Yeon "she didn't make that one" or "good she made a bogey".Classic Yank racism...you should have told the whitey's to FO.

Seriously...they gotta get off this GOAT TRACK...it's a joke. And the make things more PATHETIC...they shorten the course today...WTF.
Watching the event in China earlier recorded was much better.

Ariya...mental midget on the front 9.....with her ability to hit short irons as approach shots and imparting great spin...she should have DEMOLISHED Anna today.

Anna said nothing after she got screwed, blued and tattoed at CordeValle. Most wouldn't do the same.

I was wondering why Sandra was chatting with the Founders....she was waiting for the Anna win. Oh ya....I forgot....Anna, Sandra & The LOVELY HYP are the Orlando gal pals.
I have to give bravedave credit....he made me into a Sandra fanboy back in Portland in 2013.
Hmmmm......2 Asians come out to congrat Anna on 18.....the white women don't give the Asians any lovin when they win...just sayin.

Round 4 Congrats to Anna Nordqvist on her win. Well played and well deserved. Alas, this round was amazingly meh considering three of my favorite Sisters all had a shot at winning. What didn't help was that the Golf Channel was having some sort of weird problem on my tivo. It would play for a few seconds, then freeze, while the voice continued. I don't think I saw a single shot from start to finish. If I wound a little I could see the whole thing in ten seconds bursts, but it was unwatchable basically. Anyways, I was really feeling it was going to be So Yeon's day today. And she was set up to take this thing and just didn't get the job done, plain and simple. This was one of the worst final round collapses I've seen from her in a while. When the coverage finally started, So Yeon looked primed and ready, confident. But then the dumb mistakes started. So Yeon had one bogey in the first three rounds and FIVE today. And three of those came in the final five holes. And it wasn't just the putting; she had a number of weak iron shots in there as well (at least they looked weak based on what I could see from the glitchy broadcast). It's a real pity; she might not get a great chance like this again any time soon. Meanwhile, In Gee quietly positioned herself to win. I got excited to see her at 22 under with a real chance to catch Anna. But a lot of her approaches were not very close, and these crappy greens are so slow, she would be right on line only to see the ball come up short again and again. When she barely missed that eagle on 15 I knew it was all over. But a tie for second, thanks to a bogey free 66, is still awesome. Inbee had a good day with a 67, but she was going to need a historic round to win and it didn't happen. Her game seemed a tad off based on what they showed, but it was still a good week all in all. Round of the day goes to Ha Na Jang, who came from nowhere to capture a top five. She had six birdies in her final eight holes. Niiiiice! Sung Hyun wasn't a factor, but she still beat Yin and Korda, so at least that went right. Let's get her on a tougher course, where she can show what she can do. I don't think she's used to desert golf just yet, either. Nice week for the Sisters. Hwaiting! PS, LPGA, time to toughen up the courses. Sheesh. At least I don't think it can get worse than this.

In Gee got her clubs dialed in recently. Maybe that helped. Is she playing i200's? Yes, i200's this season.

Where is mr3putt when we need him; Stacy is unstoppable today. I went out to play golf....gonna play again tomorrow too. How was the weather? I walked 18 in the morning. It was a nice day, sunny and 39 F with no wind. By the time I finished it was a wonderful 42 degrees F.

Actually, the greens were quite fast. The camera doesn't quite show the amount of slope on the greens, and the grain is a major factor. The one In Gee left way short was uphill and into the grain.
